View Full Version : Friends, Frasier, or Seinfeld? icecream 12-18-2007, 04:49 PM My pick is Frasier, the best adult comedy of all time. catlover79 12-18-2007, 04:54 PM Seinfeld AB 12-18-2007, 05:08 PM Frasier with Seinfeld a very close second Dean Winchester 12-18-2007, 06:10 PM Seinfeld waichingliu81 12-18-2007, 06:23 PM i cannot choose between frasier or seinfeld, though either of those shows are miles better than friends Dean Winchester 12-18-2007, 06:27 PM yea, I agree. I enjoy Friends from time to time, but I do think it was by far the least inspired of the three shows and always played it safe and predictable during it's entire run waichingliu81 12-18-2007, 06:34 PM yea, I agree. I enjoy Friends from time to time, but I do think it was by far the least inspired of the three shows and always played it safe and predictable during it's entire run in truth, it never was a great sitcom. the first few seasons were good but by the 6th season onwards it just got too predictable and dull. plus, the jokes weren't as good as they were in the earlier seasons. frasier lasted a season more than friends, but i enjoyed that more because i preferred the characters on that show than in friends vtunie 12-18-2007, 06:39 PM none of the above BensonFan 12-18-2007, 08:49 PM Frasier with Seinfeld a very close second :yeahthat comedyfreak 12-19-2007, 06:08 AM Frasier with Friends a close second. tanquant 12-19-2007, 01:35 PM Seinfeld DanielFullard 12-21-2007, 12:29 PM Seinfeld is head and shoulders above all other American Sitcoms for me so thats my choice. Fraiser in second and Friends a very very very distant Third. Scoobiedoo30 12-21-2007, 12:43 PM Friends ComedyGuy 12-21-2007, 05:46 PM Seinfeld because I have a crush on Elaine catlover79 12-22-2007, 12:29 AM ^ Even when she dances?? BensonFan 12-22-2007, 12:50 AM ^ Even when she dances?? You just can't let that go, can you, Monika? catlover79 12-22-2007, 12:55 AM You just can't let that go, can you, Monika? Nope!! I LOVE that visual! Never got into FRIENDS, however. littlebelle 01-08-2008, 07:37 PM Friends! but Seinfeld is a close second. No offense intended but Frasier stinks! gotsmart 01-08-2008, 08:09 PM Seinfeld! Frasier is second I used to like Friends but after seeing all the episodes I don't have an interest in it anymore Schmoopie 08-16-2008, 09:01 AM Seinfeld without a doubt. One of the most unique shows ever! I have tried repeatedly to get into Friends and Frasier and just can't do it, although I can tolerate Friends a little more now. Nothing wrong with either show; I just can't enjoy them that much. Andrea PrettyinPink55 08-16-2008, 12:21 PM My vote goes to Friends. :D BarneyFife 08-16-2008, 01:31 PM You just can't let that go, can you, Monika? No soup for you! My favorite would be Seinfeld then Friends. I never got in to Friends, nor would I ever want to. Seinfeld has been a favorite of mine in syndication for a while now. It keeps my attention. I'm just getting in to Frasier. The show is quite good and I'm watching full episodes now. I like Cheers too, so it makes it easier to get in to Frasier. catlover79 08-16-2008, 11:39 PM Just be sure to THANK George for paying for it, or he will hound you about it for weeks! Andrea Oh, I know. I love how he waved his arms around when he said, "you had to have the BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG SALAD!" veggie-tari-jenn 08-17-2008, 12:12 AM Definately Fraiser...Seinfeld was okay...but I wasnt a Friends Fan. Schmoopie 08-17-2008, 05:01 AM Oh, I know. I love how he waved his arms around when he said, "you had to have the BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG SALAD!" Definitely a favorite episode of mine and my favorite scene is where Jerry finds out that his girlfriend once went out with Newman!! Andrea repeatshistory 08-17-2008, 05:09 AM Of the three: Frasier. Witty, charming, straight up silly sometimes. Good writing, good chemistry. Didn't like Friends after Ross & Rachel got BACK together (the first time) after they broke up. Didn't think it was very true-to-life after that. Just didn't enjoy Seinfeld. I can see the genius, but still didn't really dig it. KJH278 08-17-2008, 11:03 AM Friends Scoobiedoo30 08-17-2008, 11:30 AM Frasier ryan423 08-17-2008, 02:34 PM Seinfeld with friends in close second! catlover79 08-17-2008, 02:38 PM Definitely a favorite episode of mine and my favorite scene is where Jerry finds out that his girlfriend once went out with Newman!! Andrea Plus the fact that NEWMAN dumped HER!!!  That was a neat little twist. Brieannas21 08-17-2008, 07:39 PM Even though I LOVE Friends, I'll have to pick Frasier Chocoholic 08-18-2008, 02:36 PM I pick Frasier. scareykatt 08-19-2008, 12:15 PM Tough choice to make! Hmm, I love all three shows. I am currently trying to watch all my Seinfeld DVD's in order (talk about a fun project) and I cannot wait till I get to this episode! The last episode I watched was "The Limo" from Season 3. Dylan Murphy and O'Brien!   Andrea mrsmatthewperry 08-22-2008, 10:17 PM For me its 100% Friends it will always be the best sitcom on tv it blows Seinfield and Frazier out of the water! FRIENDS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! catlover79 08-22-2008, 10:28 PM Thanks for the picture! I am currently trying to watch all my Seinfeld DVD's in order (talk about a fun project) and I cannot wait till I get to this episode! The last episode I watched was "The Limo" from Season 3. Dylan Murphy and O'Brien!   Andrea No problem - at least you THANKED me! :joke:  Rosslover 10-26-2008, 10:21 PM Friends! No contest! There was never any really romantic on Seinfeld and Friends was all about the romance!! Purffin 10-26-2008, 10:27 PM Definetely Seinfeld i have seen every episode over and over and it's still hilarious.......Seinfeld was one of those shows that was good from beginnnig to end. IMO. Yooch 10-26-2008, 11:44 PM I enjoy all three shows, but I'd pick Seinfeld. I'm originally a New Yorker and I understand the mentality and its particular form of humor. The show never fails to entertain me, and no matter how many times I've seen an episode, I still laugh. While Friends is also New York, it's more of a generational show, but still very funny in its own right. I can just personally relate to Seinfeld better. ekkostar 10-27-2008, 09:11 AM Frasier because Frasier Crane is one of my all time favorite television characters. I'm sorry, I cannot be swayed by Friends or Seinfield. *Pleasant Tomorrow* 10-27-2008, 10:51 AM Friends. I grew up with it, so. It appealed more to my age group while it was airing, while Seinfeld and Frasier were those shows I stayed away from because they were so adult focused from my point of view. To this day that causes me to not find much of an interest in the two, but I have enjoyed the episodes of Seinfeld I've seen...but I have yet to see a full episode of Frasier. |
