I asked this to an older person who was a teenager in these days and she just said 'The women liked him" but I wasn't sure if he was consided a handsome man for that time. I find him very handsome for the time.

How about Lucy? Was she considered a beautiful woman?

How about Lucy? Was she considered a beautiful woman? Oy, what a question! BOTH were considered to be sexy and gorgeous. Lucy aquired the knowledge to fix herself up from her dowdy Jamestown roots to her nickname Technicolor Tessie, the glamor gal look she got at MGM after her blonde look at RKO gave her extra pizazz. Like Barbara Walters said, it was her great beauty that got her in the door . . . former model, showgirl, movie star looks, especially at MGM, even as a housewife on I Love Lucy, she looked great, oozed sexiness even while taking pies in the face. And she had those great showgirl legs all the way to the end of her life wearing these outfits where the slit went up to her tigh. Desi had that Latin charm and looks up the wazoo, brought the conga to America, he charmed women with his dark good looks and energy, something he shared with Lucy, he loved having a good time and was always the life of the party. BOTH were considered gorgeous and full of life.
