Most of us have had marathon phone conversations. What's your record?

Wow! I'm glad that I didn't receive the phone bill for that call, Kelly.

Maybe 2-3 hours...but they were local calls!! Other than that, I'm really not a phone person. I'm also glad I didn't get Kelly's phone bill.

 Well my friend who lives 6 hours away, we used to love to talk on the phone from 12:00am-6:00am. That was two years ago, I cannot do that anymore hehe. But boy was it fun! She had free nights on her cell phone thank god! lol

I have NEVER had a phone conversation, with anyone, ever, that lasted longer than 45 minutes, and only 1 or 2 that were above 30. I'm not a talker.

Phone; 7 1/2 hours.
Text messaging; 4 hours... I was in my senior year of high school (3 years ago) and had NO idea texting cost money.. uh huh .. I'll never forget the look on my parents faces when they saw that bill and my ears still hurt from the yelling

I know exactly where this thread comes from!!! ;)

Well, I THOUGHT we held the record Janice for 7 hours but looks like AndAwayWeGo still has us beat!

The amazing thing about our call though was that my ear didn't get tired or sweaty or anything! At the 3 hour mark I usually start getting tired but the time just flew by.

I have to thank you again for making the evening fly by and enjoyable! The crazy thing is that if I had more handsets (we drained the batteries from the two I have) I could have still gone on another 3 hours easily.

I just hope we still have free long distance service or there's going to be big trouble when that bill comes in!

 That call set a new record for me. I didn't want to post about it until I heard from you. It's amazing how time really does fly when you're having fun. :gossip

We went from crying over our sorrows to laughing til it hurt, lol. It was great to finally "meet" you. You were as funny and warm as I had imagined. I meant what I said, that if you get a bill for that call, I insist on paying half. That's only fair. Now you can tell everyone how I don't have a Boston accent, and that I don't sound like Ted Kennedy. Looking forward to the next time, Cathie. You're a living doll.

You too Sweety! I really did have a blast. Just next time, I'm making sure I hit the bathroom BEFORE the call and grab a Southern Comfort and Coke cuz it felt like a bit of a party.

Yep, it was like a great movie - "I laughed - I cried"! "Will tug on your heartstrings"!!

So you think I'm keeping the accent thing a secret???? HA! Hey Folks - she sounds like Cliff Clavin in the first season! I kid!~ ;) But those ARE rather drawn out "aaahhhs". hehe
And I don't think I said one "Eh!" at the end of any sentences either.....:p

Don't worry about the phone bill - if it does come thru - I'll add it to "His" tab....afterall, he's the cause of the need for counselling. teehee

(I've got to check my main phone base - it looks like I might have even drained the whole battery pack on the thing!) Hilarious!
