When I was a junior in high school, I had an insane crush on my youth group leader David, who was 11 years older than me and newly married. It was completely one-sided, but it was pretty awkward once they both figured it out. :o They moved out of state about a year after they came to accept a new job closer to both their families. I still get embarrassed thinking about it, actually.

Pretty much every girl who I ever liked but who didn't like me in return turned out to be embarassing.

Most embarrassing and dumbest crush was the guy at my college. God was I stupid to like him. I liked him, but he didn't like me. According to him no one would want to date someone who was blind much less marry them. That really bothered me. I have vision, regardless, that was a cold thing to say to me. I wouldn't want to be with someone like him. He used to pretend to like some of the girls at college so that they would buy him lunch. I caught on real fast and never bought him lunch. He used them for free meals.

You were no more stupid than any of the rest of us have been with crushes, Jenny. I once had a girl tell me that she would rather eat live snails than date me. :(

What a *****! Reminds me of the guy I liked in college. WTF I was thinking I'll never know. Lonliness and having a guy pay attention to me I guess. Anyway, besides being terminally ugly, he was an *******. He was fine to me when we were in school, but he graduated a semester before I did. I caught up with him after I graduated and he started out nice, but somewhere along the line he did a 180 and started making fun of me and berating me for being depressed. OMG...I still hope the Sears tower fall on him (last I knew he was in Chicago). One night awhile ago, my boyfriend got on IM and started talking **** to him (never said anything about me, so ******* never knew how my boyfriend even got his IM). I lol'd a lot. He deserved it.

I just cannot believe anyone would say that to someone, whom, did absolutely nothing wrong towards him; and to say something, that malicious and cruel is just, really, unbelievable to me...

Yeah, it was a pretty cruel thing to say. Especially considering how kind Jenny is towards everyone.

Yeah, I am sorry, if I came across, too strongly, because Jenny is such a kind and nice person, and to hear about this jerk and what he said to her, just rubbed me the wrong way:(

No, no, I totally understand, Tara. You are totally right.

Thanks.
I had no interest in him after he said that. It hurt, but thankfully I saw just what kind of a person he was. He's probably still trying to scam woman out of things.

Yeah, he probably is. Well, unless he had a run in with Tara and Cathy.

Man, a guy that can't even buy his own damn lunch. He's probably a CEO now. Those types are usually successful.

Nothing wrong with crushing on a fictional character. They are often more ideal than reality.

He was a loser. He even got upset when I wouldn't buy him lunch. I guess he hadn't caught on that I was aware of his scam. I have nothing against buying a friend lunch, but he wasn't a friend. He probably is a CEO or something along those lines now. Or like Mike mentioned he might work for the government. Lets hope not, lol.

Jenny, this guy's name didn't happen to be George W. Bush did it?
