I'm just curious at how the first season sold. ODAAT is a prime example of a show that definately was not at it's peak in the first season so I hope we can get more seasons out to see the girls the way we remember it best. The first season is "okay" but I never considered it among my favorites even ten years back on E! in reruns. I didn't think the show really found it's groove until after David left early in season 2, so I hope we can see more of the show on DVD

I didn't start getting into until about season 3. I always think it's a bad sign if the season of a show was released and no more was at all the next 8 months. So i'm thinking it didn't do that well

The first season finished at #12 in the Nielsen ratings for the 1975-76
season
He was talking about first season DVD sales not RATINGS

what a shame. The first season was probably the worst season too. At least I guess they could sorta use Ron Rifkin on Brothers And Sisters to boost season 6 if ever they get to that.

I wish these people in the DVD sale business would realize that first seasons aren't always the most popular.
