I ask this because I watched it on YouTube a few days ago and noticed that it had the season 8 credits instead of the season 9 credits so it made me wonder if the episode was intended for the 86-87 season but was held over until season 9.

Regardless, one of the only highlights that aired in the last season, it's especially funny if you're a Golden Girls fan because the episode is sprinkled with Golden Girl-isms, such as eating cheesecake in the kitchen, Jo's ex-husband being a no-good slimeball who left her for a younger woman but still wanted back in (and not only that, the ex-husband was played by Bill Macy, who played Bea Arthur's husband on Maude... and Jo was essentially playing the Bea Arthur role from Golden Girls in this ep), etc...
