It sounds like a Lucy episode, doesn't it? It never was, actually, though I can think of some pretty funny situations that might have happened with that premise. But they would probably have been too irreverent for a Lucy episode back then. Probably better suited for Monty Python. But in this clip from 1987, Lucy literally is in church -- the First Presbyterian Church of Beverly Hills, to be exact -- reading the Christmas Story with Jimmy Stewart, with musical support from phenomenal singer Denise Williams.

For some reason, I clicked on this yesterday and again today and it won't play. :(

It plays for me just fine. You may want to check to see if you have Javascript enabled on your browser. I normally have Javascript disabled with Firefox and Youtube videos won't play, so if there's something I want to watch on Youtube I have to enable it before I go there.
I think you also need the Adobe Flash plugin installed; not 100% sure about that, though.

Funny though, I have been able to see other YouTube videos today with no problem, this one is not showing.

I'm not having a problem, either. I think Larry may be correct that you have something turned off that's preventing you from watching.

That was sweet! Although it was my 5th try at getting it to play!

I have it on dvd at honme and always watch it at this time of year. I think it's from '87 or so. Nice to see Lucy and her cross the street neighbor Jimmy Stewart finally doing something together.

Are you sure about that? I dun't recall her being on Jimmy's and i'm petty sure he wasn't on hers either. I dun't have the Stewart one but i'll check the Lucy one to see. He did give her an award at the end of her CBS Salutes Lucy, the first 25 years though.
