Victoria Beckham has never been "that good at anything," she says.

"It became very obvious from the start that I was never going to be the best singer or the best dancer or the best actress," the 33-year-old Spice Girl and wife of soccer superstar David Beckham tells Elle magazine's US edition for its January issue.

"You know, I've never been that good at anything, to be completely honest."

On the contrary, she is a natural when it comes to keeping herself in the media spotlight, from her cutting-edge haircut to her high-profile marriage.

"I'm so camp! I'm such a gay man trying to get out," she says. "I don't give a (bleep) what anybody thinks."

The Beckhams and their three young sons moved to Los Angeles this summer when her husband signed to play with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

"I'm very proud to be British, but here it's a lot more relaxed," she says. "It's the happiest as a family that we've ever been. I just love America."

She is now on tour with the newly reunited Spice Girls.

"I wanted my children to see that Mummy was a pop star," she says.

"It was the last opportunity for them to stand in a crowd full of people screaming for the Spice Girls."

I have to say, I really like her! I watched her reality special on TV a few months back, and Victoria is genuinely funny and as this interview demonstrates, very self-deprecating. She forgot to mention that there is certainly one thing she excels at; she's a great mother and wife!

I don't know enough about her to say one way or the other, but I do wish she'd smile more. Seems like she's never smiling.

I watched her special too and I find her quite funny. I seen her and her hubby on the Barbara Walters special and the way he touched Victoria and the way she touched him, it seemed genuine. I was trying to find "signs" of them being fake or pretending but it came to me as genuine especially when Barbara asked if they were together forever? David responded, "Of course, why would we get married if we weren't?" Awwwwwwwww.

I only wish she would gain weight and fix those horrendous fake boobs. She did to fake boobs what Michael Jackson did for noses. :eek:

I think Victoria is sort of a British Paris Hilton. She's better at doing nothing than when she works. Granted, Spice Girls were huge but even then people noted she was the least talented member, she rarely had solos on their songs, and she also had the least amount of success for their solo careers over in England, pretty much leaving music to be a socialite. It's just like how Paris Hilton does better when she's not singing or acting :lol:
