Upcoming daytime talk strip “The Bonnie Hunt Show” has topped the 85% mark and is now cleared to takeoff for the fall 2008 season after seven weeks on the market for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
New groups with stations joining WBDTD’s strong, primarily network-affiliated “Bonnie Hunt” station lineup include Barrington Broadcasting, Columbia Broadcasting, ComCorp, Grant Communications, JW Broadcasting, Nexstar, Peak Media and Sainte Television Group, among others. Additional stations from previous “Bonnie” licensees such as Tribune Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcast Group, LIN Broadcasting and Gray Television have also signed on.
Top 40 markets with new sales include St. Louis, Mo. (KPLR-TV, Tribune Broadcasting),
Pittsburgh (WPGH/WPMY, Sinclair Broadcast Group), Columbus, Ohio (WWHO-TV, LIN Broadcasting) and Greenville, S.C. (WLOS-TV, Sinclair Broadcast Group).
The one-hour daily strip from Bob & Alice Productions and paraMedia, inc. in association with Telepictures Productions, was previously cleared in major markets through a group deal with most of the NBC-owned stations.
