He looks much younger with longer hair.

I actually prefer it neatly cut. I have always seen him that way and prefer it that way.

Oh my LORD yes, the long hair was better and made him look younger! It is especially obvious now in syndication, when they use the credits from the more recent seasons with the almost-crewcut sprinkled with gray!

I like to imagine the long hair was another part of his homage to his well-known inspiration, the late Freddie Prinze--whose hair was always about that long and soooo beautiful!

There are times when George doesn't have it real short, yet it is not so long either. It is right in between. I think that looks real good on him. I don't like the crew cut thingy with the gray sprinkled in as mentioned above. It makes him look his age.
