tv land aired un edited thress company last night about the 2 xmas parties it usally shows the trio n ropers going to stevens xmas party but never shows them coming back.but it did last night mr roper passed out after seeing them at the party they enterd house all said mr xmas stanley he yawned they all moved over did anyone see it

Yes but TV Land has shown that ending before. TV Land didn't aired that episode unedited because that cut the part where Jack list all of the girls he wanted to invite. TV Land just showed them deciding to have the party and have Jack make the first call and Janet made that last call. They cut the scene between those two calls. :)

oh ok i have not watched it in while caught it last night they schould show them more unedited more ofton and quit cutting scenes mabye they get fans my fav scene was

when roper said to jack who was at piano saying do u know il be walking behind u on your wedding day

The reason TV Land airs edited episodes is because of commercials.The episodes are trimmed down to about 21-22 minutes an episode. Three's Company uncut would be 24-25 minutes. If TV Land showed the show uncut with commercials the episode would run longer then 30 minutes. When Three's Company first aired they did not have as many commercials as they do now.

Problem is, the original editing was so tight, if you cut a scene, any given episode is likely to seem incoherent. Except, I guess, for the season-five tag scenes with Chrissy on the phone (ugh). Oh well, that's why the DVD's exist. :)
