i would say the hooneymooners. i can watch them all and never get tried of them. i only like certain epsidoes of i love lucy.

While I'm a fan of both, I'll have to say The Honeymooners. It makes me laugh harder than Lucy.

I respect Lucy, she is the Queen of comedy, but I will take the Honeymooners. I can watch consecutive episodes of the Honeymooners, and it made me laugh harder. Lucy I have seen in spurts.

I like Lucy but I love the Honeymooners. I have been watching them since I was a kid. I will never get tired of the Honeymooners.

I love both shows, but have you ever noticed how many episodes of The Honeymooners have plots that are very close to, or appear to be direct rip-offs, of earlier plots from I Love Lucy? Awhile back, I was converting all my Honeymooners tapes to DVD and was startled by the number of plot similarities. And I did do some checking of dates and was able to confirm that the I Love Lucy version always predated the Honeymooners version, so it appears those Honeymooners writers were closely watching what was going on on I Love Lucy. One obvious example is the 1956-'57 story arc on the Honeymooners (which they did again on the color version in the late '60s) where they all go to Europe. The trip to Europe was already done a year earlier on I Love Lucy. But even specific storylines were the same, or very similar: Ralph and his colleagues buy a watch for their boss's daughter's wedding, and Alice mistakenly thinks Ralph bought it for her birthday (which he had forgotten), so Ralph, unwilling to tell Alice the truth, has one of Ed's friends pretend to be a burglar to "steal" it from Alice (like "The Fur Coat" episode if ILL); Ralph thinks Alice is seeing another man, when it's actually a little boy she's hanging out with (like Lucy on the trip to Europe); Alice unwittingly sending out Ralph's suit not knowing there is money in the pocket, which Ralph tries to retrieve (like ILL's "Bonus Bucks" episode); Alice and Trixie buying the same dress for a formal occasion and each promising they'll wear a different one but then both show up in the same one ("Lucy and Ethel Wear the Same Dress"); behind Alice's back, Ralph is trying to play matchmaker for a friend by setting him up with a beautiful woman, but rumors lead Alice to believe Ralph himself is trying to get involved with this woman ("Lucy Is a Matchmaker"); Ralph and Ed scheme to keep their wives from joining them on a fishing trip ("The Camping Trip" episode of ILL); Ed and Ralph accidentally get handcuffed together ("The Handcuffs" episode of ILL); while in France, Ralph and Ed find a place with a great exchange rate, but actually wind up with counterfeit money and get sent to a French jail ("Paris at Last" episode of ILL); Ralph and Ed miss the boat for their trip to Europe ("Bon Voyage" episode of ILL). All these plots were previously used on I Love Lucy. And these are just a few examples that come to mind, but I've seen others. Can anyone else think of any more?

Me too; it's my favorite show ever. The Honeymooners was nice though, but IMO doen't hold a candle to ILL.
