I Love Lucy

All were great shows in their own way. I chose Roseanne, just because it's my favorite (but the others are close behind). Although, if we were choosing the best show, it would probably be All in the Family.

Roseanne is alright. I haven't watched I Love Lucy much. The favorite of most of my family members is All In The Family so that's the one I'm choosing.

"All In The Family" is my favorite with I Love Lucy a close second.

I choose i love lucy. I can't stand all in the family or roseanne. family ties beats them all:)

While both ILL and AITF were ground breaking for their time, and i love them both, i chose ILL cause it's the only sitcom that's almost universally loved...As for Roseanne, I dont really think it's in the same league as the other 2, but, it certainly did break some new ground (Although, the show was not to MY taste)

All in the Family, it's still the funniest to me. Mom and I watch reruns on Peachtree Tv. Couldn't stand Roseanne. I Love Lucy was funny, but I don't think I saw every episode.

All In The Family

AITF. One of my favorites, beaten by perhaps only Married with Children and The Simpsons.

Lucy, hands down.

I Love Lucy. The other two are ok, but nothing I could watch more than one at a time. I've seen several ILL marathons in my life.

"Roseanne" for sure.

All great shows. But I'm going with all in the family

All In The Family and Roseanne (along with The Honeymooners) are pretty much neck in neck as my all time favorite sitcom, but if I MUST choose only one, it would be All In The Family. I love Lucy (no pun intended), but I don't think it's the best show ever, and although it was a great show, I surely don't think it was as great as All In The Family or Roseanne.

Probably I Love Lucy, although I loved All in the Family as well. Not really a fan of Roseanne and haven't seen much of it either.

Definitely Lucy. The show is timeless, which is why it's still making people laugh 64 years later. All In The Family was good for it's time, but because it was so tied to then-current events, it seems very dated now.

I Love Lucy - This is a timeless classic and it's one of my personal favorites (top 25).

All in the Family - This is a good, funny show and it's very important for what it did to the sitcom genre but to me, it's not as good as "Lucy." More realistic? Of course! but realistic doesn't make something better.

Roseanne - Eh, I was never a big fan of this show. It was obviously very popular (and continues to be in reruns) but I wouldn't put it close to either of the first two shows on this list.

I Love Lucy by a hair, then All In The Family. While I like Roseanne, IMO it's just not in the same league as ILL and AITF.
