View Full Version : "Vera's Broken Heart"
Brian Damage 11-28-2007, 10:49 AM When Alice and Flo got the message from Vera and thought she was going to commit suicide, Mel left the diner with them. I don't mind that he left, but it looked like he just walked out of his diner that was filled with customers.
Did ION, edit that part out where he told everybody to leave?

That defintely had to be another poor edit by ION. I defintely can't see Mel just leaving and nobody is there to cover. Like I said before, ION's editing style is CUT and PASTE-lol
Ireneparalegal 11-28-2007, 03:56 PM Damnit! I haven't seen Alice since it started. I will catch it tonight for sure!!! Glad to see the chat is back here on Alice.
 At the "cut and paste" remark. Yeah, it is annoying as hell to see ION do this to its shows, but until some other network picks up ALICE, this is all we have.

You are 100% right, also, did anybody else think that guy was too good looking to be interested in Vera. Please, no offense to Vera fans.
Ireneparalegal 11-29-2007, 01:42 AM I will admit, I kinda felt that way abt that guy. I mean, he could do a whole lot better than Vera.

I enjoyed the chemistry between those two. I wish Vera would had ended up with him than that nerdy cop she married. I could not stand him. I like Steve Marsh better, the guy she was engaged to, who by a matter of fact was played by Kip Niven at the time was married to Linda Lavin. When they dressed Vera up she looked good but it was the way they fix her up and wrote her in the first few years.
Ireneparalegal 11-29-2007, 08:16 PM That actor Kip Niven gives me the creeps ever since I saw him in an early 80's movie called NEW YEARS EVIL with Fonzie's girlfriend Pinky Tuscadero, Roz Kelly. Ewwwww...watching that movie with him as a killer just ruined it for me when I see him in anything now.

Forget him, ROZ KELLY gives me the creeps. Didn't she shoot out the windows of some guy's car a few years back?
