K-Fed named in 'most influential men' list

Kevin Federline has made it onto the top ten in a list of the most influential men under 45.

Britney Spears' ex-husband was named seventh in the poll by Details magazine, which also featured Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby.

Federline told the publication: "To be a father is…everything. It shows me how little I am.

"My TVs are pretty much G-rated right now. Anything from SpongeBob to Finding Nemo, and you know, I’m still trying to decide which one I like more."

At least he's had the courage to step up and be a real father to those kids he conceived with B.
He could've been a sperm donor and let her keep running red lights with the kids in the backseat.

Was this list made in the Bizarro World? Then it would make sense.

I'm not completely sure of the source for all this abject dislike of Federline - at least not now anyway. It's not as if he's leaching off Britney any more....hell, if anything he's the more stable and dependable one now. And I've heard nothing to suggest he's been anything other than a good father to those kids, which is more than I can say for Britney's parenting.

I agree, at first I thought he was just a hanger-on sperm donor just waiting until the relationship crumbled and he'd walk away a rich boy, but I have to hand it to him, whether it's truly him, or just a fantastic manager/PR person behind him, he's really seemed to cleaned up and stepped up with those kids. You don't even see him trying to make photo-ops or trying to get publicity.

Hopefully one of the two have grown up at least. He still has no talent, but it's nice to see him actually trying to be a good father to at least some of his kids.

I agree. I think he has zero talent, but at least he has been there for his kids. Britney sure as hell doesn't need to raise them.

a lot of people still have this inate hatred for Kevin over the breakup with Shar Jackson, who was pregnant with Kevin's child when he fell in love with Britney. But from all reports I've heard, even from Shar herself, her and Kevin were splits before the Britney tour began. Just because she was pregnant didn't mean that they were together.

Personally, I think Kevin has no talent but I think it's great he's getting the last laugh because the media trashed him at every chance because they demanded her getting back together with Justin (basically the reverse of the "celebrity trade-up" thing I mentioned on another thread, where people OK'd Brad Pitt leaving Aniston for Angelina Jolie because Jolie is "hotter") and for the two years they were together, media ridiculed him at every chance possible, and when Britney left him (which she did mainly to get back in people's good graces, which says a hell of a lot about her), people were all cheering. But then people began to finally realize that Britney is not the same girl they fell in love with several years ago and realized they've been treating Federline unfairly and like ****.

I give him kudos for being a father to his kids.

Ok, to the topic at hand. INFLUENTIAL? Ok, I will give him that. Since he influenced Britney to marry him and buy him million dollar toys. ;)

Well I guess he's had a lot of influence with the legal industry (you should know this one!) I mean he's been keeping a good team going and then Britney's, etc.. hehe

Kinda like O.J. - he keeps the legal eagles in business too! ;)

Oh of course he has the legal team to help him...he pays them with all that spousal support money. ;)

Influential?? Him and Larry may be "good" fathers, but how does that make someone influential?

When a person is "influential", that usually means folks won't shut the [beep] up about you. Winner.
