I think this was in season 2 soon after his mother Joan died. He had a nightmare/bad dream and he got up and went into Mary's room. She was the only one still up studying. She asked him what was wrong and if he needed a hug. I remember thinking how sad it was that he didn't have his mom to comfort him. I don't know if the nightmare/bad dream was about his mom or not.
