Jenny, I'm sorry that I don't have an answer. My new computer has that sleep mode thing too, and I called tech support today and was told it was safe to disable it. I don't want my computer just shutting down, like it does. Many times, I minimize articles or documents that I'm working on, and I don't want to lose them.
