Nearly all of the original music included! There are 3 episodes that are missing 2-4 minutes of footage, however. Definitely an improvement over the second season set in several ways.
robyrob 11-26-2007, 10:33 PM you know, its amazing how many people have actually "reviewed" the set on Amazon - obviously before they've actually received the set!
I hope that once the word gets out that the music is mostly intact that sales go through the roof and we start getting regular releases with increasing quality :woohoo:

Yes.Yes.Yes. I hope so. - I've pre-ordered the Box as soon as I knew about it ... wonder how long the Mail will need over the Pond now.
catlover79 11-27-2007, 01:27 AM That's good news about the music. Hopefully that will continue for future DVD sets. Do we get to see Potsie singing "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" to Joanie??
bluthree 11-27-2007, 12:36 PM Glad to read that Happy Days season 3 is an improvement over season 2.My copy has shipped from Amazon yesterday and I should have it tomorrow.Cant wait.
studd911 11-27-2007, 05:36 PM hey i am planning on geting mine from best buy if you do not mind can somebody please tell me from all of the episodes once you get a chance to watch them all of the original deleted scenes that are not shown in syndication but on the dvd peace.
Pavan 11-27-2007, 05:48 PM studd, read the review. All the episodes are uncut it seems except three.
Billy K. 11-27-2007, 09:29 PM Yeah, the review breaks down the episode running times by episode.
Bummer that 3 episodes are edited.
TheFonz27 11-28-2007, 12:27 AM Is any one else having a hard time finding it? I went to 2 Walmart's, FYE, and Target and none of them had it.
anglemark10 11-28-2007, 01:42 AM I went to Wal-Mart Tuesday, and they didn't have it. They told me to try again later, so I'll go back Wednesday.

Sorry to hear that. You'd think fye would at least have it.
spreckenzeedeu 11-28-2007, 03:47 PM I got an Email ...cause of the time difference... last Night, that my Box was sent. Cross your Fingers, that it will be here at the Weekend.
TheFonz27 11-28-2007, 11:24 PM Yeah, FYE told me that they didn't even order it, but I finally got it at Best Buy for 34.99!
I was kind of hoping that Wal Mart would have them for 20 bucks like season 2.

rainbowfeet 11-29-2007, 04:11 PM I'm very happy to hear that there has been an improvement since the release of season 2. I haven't been able to get my copy yet, but I'm very excited now that I know the presentation is so much better!
Billy K. 11-29-2007, 08:21 PM Yes...the Season 3 DVD set is a vast improvement over Season 2 DVD set.
I just wish they can re-release the Season 2 DVD set and correct all those flaws -- ie. music replacement back to original >>> picture quality.
I found the picture quality of Season 3 very good IMO - the worst of the picture quality is The Anniversary Show (as mentioned in the review).
And then here and there where they used "old footage" in the spots where there were the edits in Syndication.
Yes, the edits do stink -- but I believe for those 2 episodes the main areas where the edits were were the "tag" scenes not being there. I distinctly remember there were tag scenes for both of those episodes
In the one where Laverne & Shirley make their debut -- the tag scene was something like Howard asking Richie what really happned that night while they were out of the house...
Then in "Fonzie's new Friend" -- the tag scene consisted of a little more of the "party" scene - or the Party just wrapping up.
Pretty much the major plot is fully explained during these episodes.
All in all I'd give the set an A- or a 9 ...
Much better than the 2nd season set though.
catlover79 11-29-2007, 10:55 PM Season 3 is where we see the last of Chuck Cunningham, right?
anglemark10 11-30-2007, 02:00 AM Season-two's "Guess Who's Coming to Christmas" was the last we saw of Chuck Cunningham.
spreckenzeedeu 11-30-2007, 07:31 AM My Box has arrived Today *Yay*
Heidi Dawn 12-01-2007, 12:26 AM I ordered mine from Amazon.ca yesterday, after having no luck finding it in stores. I should be getting it sometime next week, along with season 3 of both Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. Only 1 more season to go for Mork & Mindy.

There is another missing footage I'd like to point out. In the first scene of "The Motorcycle", the one where Fonzie's motorcycle was totaled, when Joanie came downstairs the first time (she came back downstairs again and said "Sit On It, Richie!"), Richie said something to her about being in school, and she said "What are you, the truant officer?" That part's been left out too. It just cut right to the part when Fonzie cheerfully walked into the Cunningham house before he found out about his bike being wrecked. I know it hasn't been shown on syndication for a long time, but I distinctly remember it from when Happy Days aired on my local TV station years ago.
Who thinks that the 2nd anniversary clip show should've been where it was originally broadcast?
It was originally broadcast the episode after "Dance Contest" and the episode before "Football Frolics" but on the dvd it is the final episode on the dvd under the title Special feature.
bluthree 12-01-2007, 10:27 AM I watched A Date With Fonzie last night and I'm disapointed that the tag scene was missing.I wonder why CBS/Paramount deleted that scene from the episode? I know the tag scene was in The Nick at Night airings I wish CBS/Paramount could explain to us why they included edited episodes.Still I'm glad the music is intact and I think it's a very nice set despite there being edited episodes.I hope season 3 sells well as I would like to have all The Happy Days seasons on my DVD shelf.

I agree. They put it where they did just so they could claim it as a "special feature."
dave insinga 12-01-2007, 08:36 PM i am delighted so far the quality is much better than season 2
the episodes are intact if the rest of the set looks as good as the episodes ive watched i would be happy.
FonzForever 12-02-2007, 11:22 AM I got mine at Best Buy. For anyone looking if you go the best buy website, it will tell you whether any BB locations near you have it in stock.
Even though I've always stressed how much I love the characters it's great to have the music back. I wonder if the lessened availibility of this set (maybe less copies produced) and less music rights to buy made the music inclusions possible. If so I'm all for it. Sell it and tailor it to the people who want it and will pay for it. I'm loving Season 3 which is a favorite of mine anyway. In comparison to Season 2, I'll probably have gone through all four disks by the end of next weekend. Took me about a month with Season 2.
studd911 12-02-2007, 03:25 PM hey was anybody shocked too find out from your reviews that season 3 was going to have all of the original music intact which was not heard in season 2 i thank god for pavan and todd. But tell me what was the formula and the key to finally get cbs/paramount to spend the money on the original music rights, was it the fans garry marshall, but whatever they did i am glad season 3 should sell well so they can get and clear more of the original music, it would not surprise me if they included little darlin by diamonds which was not heard in season 2 on season 4, finally they saw the light, hey i wanted to asked you something, if season 3 as well as all of the seasons sell well with all of the original music intact, do you think cbs/paramount will go back and re-released season 2 with whatever money is left over from the sells that would be cool, hey i was reading on amazon.com a comment from one of the custumer services buyers and what did she mean by I have detected no glaring music edits does this mean that this is all of the original music which was heard on the abc broadcast, just curious. Hey does it show at the end of the credits all of the music artist.
One last thing, i live down here in georgia and walmart never has any dvd release which is sad,
but since some of you guys have hd3 could someone post some pics up from the deleted scenes, thats if you can, and i have one question, if season 3 does well along with the other release with the original music intact, does anybody thing that with whatever money is left over that cbs/paramount will try to re-release season 2 just a suggestion
wayne 12-03-2007, 11:47 PM I am impressed with what I have seen so far. The music is the same and it is nice to see some scenes that were deleted so that the commercials would fit.
stoneofzanzibar 12-04-2007, 02:31 AM There's another brief scene of "The Motorcycle" that's also missing! After the scene at Arnold's where Ralph walks in pretending to know nothing we go to the break. The next scene began showing Ralph pulling into Arnold's parking lot and getting out of his car. He then was greeted by Marsha who asked him if he was taking a trip (or something along those lines). He then went inside. The only part of that scene on the DVD shows Ralph walking into Arnold's.
I remember seeing this scene as recently as 1984 on a syndicated episode in Chicago.
More proof: Beatrice Cohen is credited at the end. Unless she spoke, she wouldn't be credited, as she is only seen in the background in the entire DVD episode!
How many other brief scenes are probably omitted or edited?
This is inexcusable.
Billy K. 12-04-2007, 03:42 PM Ouch! Good catch!
I think Studd also found another edit in that episode as well.
Well how about "PRETTY MUCH" unedited episodes!
Billy K. 12-04-2007, 03:45 PM I actually haven't watched the set since last week -- I've been watching Season 2 - watched that over the weekend and last night started watching Season 1 again.
Wow...IMO they did a "GREAT" job with season 1 -- I think that's when Paramont was on it's own without CBS.
Ever since CBS came on board tit seems these sets aren't as good.
But the music - after watching a few Season 1 episodes - make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!
studd911 12-04-2007, 07:51 PM hey i am just so happy that cbs/paramount address all of the important issues in clearing all of the original music intact, but in future reference especially when season 4 comes out that they must address the editing footages especially with the three part episode fonzie loves pinky, too see all f the original missing footages that you cannot see anywhere else, that to me is the only thing that they must address if they can handle that everything else will fall into play, but with all of the response with season 3 it will sell, but i am glade that they finally saw the light. I am looking forward too seeing the same results on season 4 like we saw on season 3. But i guess they are working on the footages that is missing. And more of the original songs that the band had covered. I no that all of the songs and music will be intact for the other seasons, but i wonder if they are planning on re-releasing season 2 again anything could happen. By the way how many original songs where used in season 3 50 just asking.
faraj 12-05-2007, 12:59 AM There's another brief scene of "The Motorcycle" that's also missing! After the scene at Arnold's where Ralph walks in pretending to know nothing we go to the break. Wow, man, that really sucks. Well, maybe season 3 will be re-released with those missing scenes from the motorcycle ep. restored. Who knows? I thought she was just credited coz she was seen in the background. I wonder if there's a Happy Days episode with both her and Arnold. I know she also appeared in that episode when they made Fonzie a cop, but Arnold wasn't in it.
wayne 12-05-2007, 03:00 AM There are a couple of scenes that were missing that I noticed. One is in the one with Sticks Downey with the luau ending and also with Laverne and Shirley in which Fonzie lets Ritchie in and he has to explain to Dad what happened. I wonder why they did that. I haven't seen the entire last two tapes but "they call it Potsie love" looks intact..
Billy K. 12-05-2007, 11:33 AM Yeah...the tag scenes from "A Date With Fonzie" and "Fonzie's New Friend" were missing on the DVD set.
Also a scene in "The Motorcycle" was missing.
Anything else that anyone noticed?
It would be interesting to see if they would go back to Season 2 and put the music back in since everyone was making a big stink about it.

I just watched "A Date with Fonzie" on DVD the other night, and I noticed that it's not just the tag scene that was left out. There's something else cut out. The scene where Richie, Fonzie, Laverne, and Shirley were all locked out of the house and couldn't get in before Richie went in through the window and knocked down the lamp. coz I do remember Fonzie saying, "Mr. Cunningham, we are freezing out here!!" They just faded from the Arnold's scene where Richie met Laverne and Shirley and went right to the part where Richie climbed into the window of his house, knocked down the lamp, ripped his pants, and read the note from Joanie taunting him about locking himself out. And "Fonzie's New Friend" also has some edit scenes left out besides the tag scene which is posted on a separate thread.
Something's gotta be done because this is ridiculously too much editing. Season 3 needs to be reworked with all this stuff fixed along with some Motorcycle scenes that were also left out. I've never seen this many scenes edited from the episodes of one TV show on DVD before. Anyone who has the address (postal or e-mail) to the CBS/Paramount studio, I could write to them to complain, to point out all these DVD edits, to find out what the heck's going on, and to urge them to rework on this DVD set if possible.
studd911 12-06-2007, 07:33 PM CBS/PARAMOUNT really needs too address the editing fotages, hopfully they are working on the footages on season 4, does anybody remember seeing and hearing the band covering some of little richard's songs like reddy teddy and rip it up. Are there any episodes that are not edited out in fonzie moves in richie fights Fearless Fonzarelli (Part One) fearrless Fonzarelli part two The Other Richie Cunningham They Call It Potsie Love and other episodes that are not edited

I believe those are intact Studd - those episodes that you mentioned.
They're about 25 1/2 minutes in length (roughly)
"Fonzie Moves In" (25:29)
"Fearless Fonzarelli - Part 1" (25:30)
"Fearless Fonzarelli - Part 2" (25:33)
"The Other Richie Cunningham" (25:30)
"Richie Fights Back" (25:30)
I just saw "They Call It Potsie Love" (25:33) (w/ Potsie singing "Put Your Head on My Shoulders" to Joanie as well as "Shake Rattle And Roll" - and "Tell It To The Marines" (25:32) tonight and it didn't look like anything was missing. I also saw "Dance Contest" (25:30) as well and that appeared to be intact. I'm coming up onto "Fonzie The Superstar".
You can tell though like in Fearless Fonzarelli (both episodes) where they were using different prints of the film - like in the hospital scene in Part 2. It didn't have as much color as it was going from cut to cut.
BTW, did you check out my post regarding "Fonzie's New Friend"?
Yes, Faraj, there is some more footage missing from "A Date With Fonzie", as I'm sure there is more footage missing from "The Motorcycle" and "The 2nd Anniversary Special"
Billy K. 12-06-2007, 08:49 PM Actually depending on if you count the new "Paramont/CBS" logo at the end, most of them last 25.30/25.32.
studd911 12-08-2007, 05:18 PM hey happy days fan, finally i got my happy days dvd season 3 yesterday, i was looking at all of the episodes, and they look great and the music saved the show. I am so happy that cbs/paramount address these issues. I was looking at fonzie new friend and they cut a scene at the very end where fonzie was doing the limbo. I saw that in a date with fonzie they cut out more scenes which was mentioned. And the motorcycle scenes which was missing some footages, but any way the whole dvd was ok. But as i have said when cbs/paramount get to the rest of the seasons like fonzie loves pinky the three part episodes, fonzie goes to hollywood and other episodes that has three part they really must address the editing features and all of the original missing footages which i am sure they will, as a matter of face i just finish my letter to them requesting that they address these issues. I am glad that they finally address the music issues which we are all looking for the same results in season 4 but they have to work on improving the footages which is a must, i am dying too see the love scenes from fonzie loves pinky. I was watching on the dvd the episode they call it potsie love and by watching the episode on tv land, i do not think that they showed the scenes where joannie was dreaming about the wedding or the scenes where she was getting some advice from fonzie. I was also watching the episode where fonzie had to stop the fight between the falcons and the dragons, and i saw a scenes which i do not think was shown in syndication where fonzie was lefting weights with richie trying to get him to go down and stop the rumble.
Getting back to the episode they call it potsie love there was a closing scenes which could have been shown in syndication where marion was talking with joanne about life and heart being broken. But the episode of Arnold wedding was a classics original scenes to see which i did not see in syndication where fonzie was dancing with that japanse girl. Again the dvd was hott but cbs/paramount pleas address the editing issues and more songs of the band singing.

Are you talking about you don't remember seeing those scenes on TVland or on the DVD? - because they've been restored.
I'm still holding out hope that they can go back to fix Season 2 (where they have the most music problems - and maybe they can clean the picture some more).
studd911 12-08-2007, 05:48 PM The scenes where marion was talking with joannie i do not believe i saw that on the tv land version, and i did not see the scenes at arnold wedding on the dvd but not in syndication where fonzie was dancing with that japanse girl. Again CBS/Paramount has to address the editing footages before they ge to season 4 and others. Hey BILLYK since you got your dvd from amazon.com, maybe if you want you could post a comment about seeing cbs/paramount addressing the editing issues, i no that theh should not have any trouble clearing any of the music now for the rest of the seasons.
anglemark10 12-09-2007, 12:41 AM i no that theh should not have any trouble clearing any of the music now for the rest of the seasons.
What makes you think that? Just because the music is present for season three doesn't mean it will be smooth sailing from here on out.
robyrob 12-09-2007, 04:47 AM there will be definitely still be music issues in the future season's releases - in the season 6 episode "Stolen Melodies" they have a LONG scene where Joainie and Marion are doing "the Twist", they start with the dancing and continue as Howard comes home, then Richie and Leather come in with the band's new demo recording.
Chubby Checker has consistently sued for millions for each and every use of his songs - he claims that even the dance is his, so it doesn't seem like there is any way to do any of that scene.
I am sure that there will be other scenes throughout the rest of the series that will cause some problems, but at least Paramount is TRYING to get some of the music in there and keep it mostly intact.
FonzForever 12-09-2007, 02:54 PM Each set seems to have plus and minus. I'm resigned to the fact that
for whatevers reasons we probably won't see anything as close to perfect as the season 1 set again. I have to say though that the video quality surpasses what was being presented on TV land. I've kept my tapes (witht he exception of Season 1, no need for it anymore since the season 1 DVd set is so complete) and the DVD sets are better in video quality even if they aren't given the "Full Treatment" that some more contempory show shave.
I think it's easy to forget there was a point a few years ago where it looked like Happy Days DVD sets would never see the light of day. Then when they did come out, there were issues. Lot of of money for music in season 1 but sales weren't as expected. After a huge delay Season 2 comes out with mostly edited out music and an uproar ensues. Despite all this Season 3 (with many classic episodes) makes it way to us and the music has mostly returned. If future sets are the quality of Season 3 (music intact) I'l be happy. Make no mistake I'd love to see each and every episode uncut with all music as originally aired. But in lieu of that more DVD's liek Season 3 are OK with me.
Imagine if tomorrow you found out Season 3 didn't sell what they wanted and a decent sales/money spent for original music ratio could not be reached. That seasons four and beyond would not be coming out. The samll omissions suddenly wouldn't wouldn't seem so important. I do believe we'll see at least seasons 4 & 5 though.

Agreed on all points. At least we're getting SOMETHING! They could say, "hey it's not worth it because we can't get the music rights/complete episodes".
BTW, if they can make it the same quality wise (small edits and all) like Season 3 - I'm up for it.
I think the music (IMO) matter most during Seasons 1 & 2. I'm sure most will disagree with me (ex. the band singing "real" 50s songs, the jukebox hitting by Fonzie, etc.).
spreckenzeedeu 12-09-2007, 04:37 PM At least we're getting SOMETHING!
Thank You. Finally somebody is saying that.
Not everything is/was perfect with the Releases. But I am not complaining. I am happy and thankful that there are DVDs now. And I really really really really hope, that the other Seasons will be released too...
faraj 12-10-2007, 04:02 AM The scenes where marion was talking with joannie i do not believe i saw that on the tv land version, and i did not see the scenes at arnold wedding on the dvd but not in syndication where fonzie was dancing with that japanse girl.
Yeah, but CBS/Paramount addressing the editing footages before going to season 4 and beyond seems unlikely to happen. Sorry to say.
dave insinga 12-10-2007, 09:24 PM the third set is a hell of alot better than the second one and if this is as close to original we can get than so be it . i want the whole series and if they are all of the same quality as that of season 3 ,i can live with that i have the tv land/nick at night version this is much better than that was .

Right on. Good point, and I like your attitude. You go, boy! LOL! And I agree with everything you said, so amen to all of that.

Me Too!

*thumb up* I totally agree :)
faraj 12-11-2007, 11:32 PM *thumb up* I totally agree :)
Amen. One thing I don't understand, though, is why they'd leave out some parts that weren't cut out in syndication before. That's what bothers me.
wayne 12-15-2007, 07:18 PM There was a scene in "football frolics" in which at the end Fonzie realizes that his date's name was Jennifer. I don't think I have seen that since the episode first aired.
studd911 12-15-2007, 09:51 PM Hey happy days fans, i love my dvd of season 3 so much that i watch it for the fun of it. I called amazon.com and they are the coolist people to ever talk too and asked questions too.I had asked them how the sells from season 3 where doing and they said that it was doing much better in the sells and fans has been posting up comments calling them up and expressing how season 3 was much better then season 2. I also asked them does the company or studios read most of the comments about there product and they said yes, because they are known world wide, they even have a amazon over in england and the united kingdom. Anyway, i am happy to see that the company and television studios finally saw the light. Again if the sells are doing much better, then i really believe that they will try too make season 4 as they did season 3 with much music as possible and with potsie and the band covering the songs from the 50's. But once again and i really hate to sound blunt, but they really have too address the editing issues which is a must, i am looking forward to seeing some of the original love scenes between fonzie and pinky, and other scenes of the three part episodes. I am looking forward to seeing them address the episode of fonzie goes to hollywood where he is jumping over the shark. Anyway i just have one suggestion to make, thats only if any of you fans want to see more improvements on other future releases. If anybody has gotten there happy days dvd third season from amazon.com i am encouringing all of you fans to post your comments about what you love or like about season 3, and how in the future you would love too see cbs/paramount work on the editing issues which is very important, try to use and clear as much music as possible, and whatever else you would like to say, again its only a suggestion, because if the studio is reading these comments, maybe they will address these issues, i was shocked to hear before i bought the dvd that all of the original music which was not heard in season 2 was intact in season 3. But its up to you all, if any body would like to call up amazon to really asked the how the sells are doing there number is 1-866-216-1072 believe me they are the coolist people you could ever tallk with peace.

All right. Maybe it's a good sign. I'd like to see the eps. with Al, Chachi, and Lori Beth on DVD too.
studd911 12-15-2007, 11:05 PM Hey again if you really want to see the series in its original formate justt post up your comments on amazon and let them now and make sure yu give it either 4 or 5 stars.
anglemark10 12-15-2007, 11:27 PM Can anyone figure out what the song is in "Richie Fights Back" that plays at Arnold's when Rocko and Frankie are bothering Ralph at the pinball machine? I listened to it over and over but can't make it out.
faraj 12-16-2007, 12:45 AM Can anyone figure out what the song is in "Richie Fights Back" that plays at Arnold's when Rocko and Frankie are bothering Ralph at the pinball machine? I listened to it over and over but can't make it out.
During the recent years in syndication, that song was just one of those generic ones that replaced the original music. Something you can't find by downloading that song or buying a CD that contains it. But the original song that was replaced in this one was You Send Me by Sam Cooke.
studd911 12-16-2007, 05:05 AM hey i think i heard the instrumental song of you send me either in the episode of arnold wedding where fonzie was dancing with that japanse girl, or that episode Tell It to the Marines where at the end ralph was dancing with the knew love of his life at arnold when fonzie hit the jukebox, i have to rewatch the episode again.
anglemark10 12-16-2007, 11:57 PM But the original song that was replaced in this one was You Send Me by Sam Cooke.
That's definitely it. Thank you very much.
faraj 12-17-2007, 12:57 AM hey i think i heard the instrumental song of you send me either in the episode of arnold wedding where fonzie was dancing with that japanse girl, or that episode Tell It to the Marines where at the end ralph was dancing with the knew love of his life at arnold when fonzie hit the jukebox, i have to rewatch the episode again.
The part where Fonzie was dancing with that Japanese girl after Arnold and Momo's wedding was the instrumental version of the Teddy Bears' To Know Him Is To Love Him. And the one played at the end of Tell It To The Marines is the instrumental version of the Platters' My Prayer. I'm a real oldies (50s, 60s, and sometimes 70s) fanatic so I'm an expert at these.
faraj 12-17-2007, 12:58 AM That's definitely it. Thank you very much.
Sure, no problem. s'k. Glad to be of help. You're welcome very much. :)
anglemark10 12-23-2007, 01:19 AM faraj, I've got another one for you: What was the instrumental heard right at the start of "Tell It to the Marines?"
faraj 12-23-2007, 01:28 AM faraj, I've got another one for you: What was the instrumental heard right at the start of "Tell It to the Marines?"
That, I think is just one generic instrumental song used originally for this show only. Apparently, not an original oldies song, and I've hoid that song played in other episodes.
anglemark10 12-24-2007, 12:52 AM Thanks again. I've got one more if you don't mind: the instrumental at the very start of "The Happy Days 2nd Anniversary Special."
faraj 12-24-2007, 12:56 AM Thanks again. I've got one more if you don't mind: the instrumental at the very start of "The Happy Days 2nd Anniversary Special."
You're welcome. And I don't mind at all. And I think the instrumental at the very start of the Happy Days clip show is Little Darling by the Diamonds. That's what it sounds like coz I just played that first part of that episode on my DVD.
anglemark10 12-24-2007, 01:46 AM Yeah, it's very hard to make out, but I think you're right. Thanks.
faraj 12-24-2007, 02:30 AM Yeah, it's very hard to make out, but I think you're right. Thanks.
Sure is. Sounds very indistinct, but I think I could tell it was Little Darling, so I know I'm riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. LOLLLLLLLLL! and you're welcome. Merry Christmas.
studd911 12-30-2007, 05:07 PM I love all of my happy days fans. I know that happy days season 3 is doing much well and better. I believe that we will see season 4 with the same original music which was not heard in season 2 and i hope that they addressed the editing issues. i am looking forward too seeing all of the deleted scenes with fonzie and pinky. just too let you guys i was talking with one of the workers who works at amazon and they told me that paris hilton mother was one of pinky's girls they said that her name appears in the closing credits. Hey faraj i wanted to asked you a question, do you remember some o the original songs that was heard in season 4 and did potsie and the band covered allot of songs that was not shown in syndication based on what you remember, i coud be wrong, but i heard that he and the band was playing and singing rocken robin, and litle richard song rip it up, i think that they covered that song we will have too wait and see. in the future release the magic show, and the famouse three part episodes. hey if anybody wants cbs/paramount email address i have it it was given too me by the person who works at amazon.com happy hoildays
wayne 02-05-2008, 10:43 PM The one in season 4 with "Fonzie loves Pinky has a scene in which they ride into the sunset with their motorcycles. I hope the DVD has that put in.
studd911 02-24-2008, 03:33 AM the 50's on happy days was more of richie era and the 1960's was more of joannie and chachi eara, where richie and ralph joined the service, and joannie and chachi was more into there generation, thats just my point of view.
studd911 02-24-2008, 03:34 AM Hey happy days fans, i have a question to asked you all, in a fair fight you got fonzie's falcons vs john travolta's aks danny zuko t-birds from grease who would win the rumble. Which was fonzie's first group the demons of the falcons.
studd911 02-24-2008, 03:42 AM hey happy days fans, i was just thinking too myself, if cbs/paramount ever release season 4 of happy days i bet i no what the cover is going too look like. I was looking at the photo gALLERY and i believe the next set will show potsie richie fonzie and ralph taking a picture in front of arnolds standing besides the fonz infront of his motorcycle i am perdicting the cover will either be red or blue its just a guess
Ohio8 07-22-2008, 08:41 PM That's good news about the music. Hopefully that will continue for future DVD sets. Do we get to see Potsie singing "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" to Joanie??
That particular scene is in the DVD copy of the "They Call it Potsie Love" episode. It starts at the 4:18/4:19 mark.
Wreckless 07-22-2008, 10:36 PM Those pictures are crystal clear! Nice work.
spreckenzeedeu 07-22-2008, 10:46 PM Well...Joanie wasn't the only One who fell in Love in that Moment ;)
Waterston_Fan 12-29-2008, 10:27 PM Well, I'm watching season 3. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought there was more to that episode about Fonzie's friend.
But I thought it was a good episode and I liked Howard in this one...
Could there have been a song during the limbo or something? Maybe some copyright problem or something that they couldn't settle on time?
It would be great to have all the uncut stuff but I'd rather have the wrong kind of music and the uncut stuff.
Copyright stuff is the bitch.. :(
DawnShadow 01-27-2015, 07:54 PM In the one where Laverne & Shirley make their debut -- the tag scene was something like Howard asking Richie what really happned that night while they were out of the house...
Ah yes, I remember that. They still show that scene in Australian syndication. I'll have to record that for my collection.
Richie says "Do you want to hear the version we're going to tell our friends or what really happened?
and Howard says "Let's start with the first one, it'll be more interesting."
How I remember that one scene, no idea
