When do you and your family open presents. In my family we get a new ornament and pajamas every year we open those on Christmas Eve but everything else is Christmas morning. So I'm voting Christmas morning.

We usual have it on christmas eve. we go to my unlce larrys house then come home and open up the gifts.

We always did it that early because as a kid I couldn't wait to open my presents from 'Santa' (who could?) now here I am 20 years old and still unable to wait lol.

Both, this year it's Christmas Eve at my Mom's and Christmas day at my Dad's.

Christmas Eve was our usual thing, most of the time we wouldn't even wait until midnight. My parents got tired of policing the tree area and just let us dig in at around 11:30 or 11:45. One year, I'll never forget, I was watching "TattleTales" on Game Show Network on Christmas Eve and it was around...maybe 5:30pm. My parents were just like..."You can start opening stuff if you want, yea..." Those were some good old days...

Xmas eve, in part to the old tradition of Xmas at Granmans place, then coming back home and doing that before everyone showed up (At one time, we had people from as far as Montreal staying over for 2 or 3 days, at Xmas)

Christmas Morning. We used to open presents from aunts/uncles/grandmas on Christmas Eve, but Grandma is poor and the kids are too old, so now we just play a game for $5 prizes.

That's how we do it also. But now that I'm a mom I put the clothes out first on Christmas Eve and let them open one gift. Later on I put the toys up under the tree for Christmas morning.

Actually, we don't open ours until Christmas Day afternoon!! That's when everybody comes over for dinner.

Since I got married, Christmas Eve has always been spent with my husband's family. Except last year, because they had moved to AL before us. Now that we are together again, the tradition will carry on.

It was always on Christmas Morning. On Christmas Eve we would go to my grandpa's house (God rest his soul) and we would open gifts there. And on Christmas Day we would open our gifts than go to my grandma's house and open gifts.

Me and my family always go to a party with cousins, aunts, uncles mostly on my mom's side on xmas eve but right when the clock hits 12am we do all the xmas traditional stuff sing some x mas songs, say what we're thankful and proud of and then open the gifts!
