I always say "Merry Christmas". Even when I worked retail, I said it.

I always said it, too. I figured they didn't have to say it back if they didn't want to.

Merry Christmas. I only say Happy Holidays if I mean Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years together.

Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays is acceptable too, but i don't think people should say it because they're afraid to say Merry Christmas.

Definately Merry Christmas! Sometimes I think the world is way to politically correct. You know, if you don't like it it's not as if I said "Merry Christmas" to be offensive!

Merry Christmas...I don't think I've ever really used the phrase Happy Holidays to be honest. Obviously, though, if someone doesn't celebrate Christmas I won't because then I'd sound like an ass, but generally yeah I use Merry Christmas.

I just say Merry Christmas. It's not like it's a big deal over what one you choose to use.

Happy Holidays would be more politically correct for those not celebrating Christmas but do celebrate Hanukkah, etc...

Merry Christmas. Tough if you don't like it. I've never had anyone who wasn't Christian freak out on me, so I think I'm doing ok.

Well if there is nothing but Christmas coming,I say Merry Christmas.... Otherwise I might say Happy Holdiays because thinking Christmas is the only holiday is selfish and wrong......

Happy Holidays: mostly anytime shortly before Thanksgiving, anytime after Thanksgiving & before Christmas and anytime after Christmas & before New Years.

Where I live , Los Angeles , it's very diverse with religion and culture , so it's best to just say " Happy Holidays " . Unless I specifically know the person celebrates Christmas , than I say Merry Christmas . :)
