One of my favorite episodes - there was a woman crying about 'something'. What was so humorous was the expression on her face. I 'think' her part involved something about having a baby and her husband's fertility. Toward the end of the show, Deitrich made a comment to her about artificial insemination (I think) - and the fact that he resembled her husband.

Just 'vague' recollection. But, her crying episode was hilarious:happyface

If this 'rings a bell' to anyone, would you please let me know which episode it was (and what the episode title was) so I can purchase that season DVD?

That ep is called "The Baby Broker" and it's from Season 5. The woman and her husband end up at the station because the German woman their lawyer is paying to give her baby to them has changed her mind and wants to go home.
She starts crying after the German woman leaves, but cheers up when Dietrich explains artificial insemination to her. She leaves with quite an interest in ol Dietrich!

The fifth season was 1979-80, wasn't it??
