I put it on a tall box covered with a tree skirt and put that icicle looking grass stuff underneath it. All around it are the gifts, wrapped in silver or gold foil paper and gift bags with angels on them. On each side are animated Mr. and Mrs. Claus holding moving lighted candles. I put crystal and ceramic angels on top and around the gifts. In ways, it's almost like a tradition here too. I've spend so many Christmases around that thing I wouldnt want to give it up, anyways. It actually looks better today than it did in 1998. But that's the point. It doesn't go to waste. No typical person can chop up a tree and make mulch of it.... that's why they put it to the curb -- the city picks it up and makes mulch out of it. And it's not like killing a deer. Deer aren't manufactured liked trees are -- for the sole purpose of Christmas. It's more along the lines of a.... napkin.
