Every sitcom has them. Episodes that envolves two people that mainly get along fighting. What are your favorite fights.

The Golden Girls: They were supposed to go to a banquet and Rose got sick a few days before, which caused everybody to get sick. Deciding to be to sick to go, no one went. Well, word slipped that one of the girls (Rose, Dorothy, or Blanche) was a show-in for an award. They went from "it's going to be you. you did such and such", to "it's going to me be. I did this and this." They went sick just prove to the other person that it was going ot be them.
All in the Family: Edith was going through the change and she picked a fight with Archie about going to Disney World. 'I'm not going to Disney World. Or any other world!'

I never actually liked when Lucy and Ethel fought. It was disheartening.
But my favorite fight would have to be on "Gilligan's Island". In "Seer Gilligan" the castaways eat these seeds that allow them to read each others' minds. Anyway it's pretty funny because they have 'think' fights and you have no idea what they're actually saying but you can use your imagination.

Full House, Episode #125, Lovers and other Tanners. That was classic the wrestling match between Danny and Steve, DJ's boyfriend. when he was trying to stop Steve and DJ from seeing each other. Steve took him and that was great.

Alice, Episode #37, Close Encounters of the Worst Kind. That was a scream when Flo and Alice got into it and leading up to Vera and Mel. The role reversal was great. Alice was being a amateur psychologist and it backfired on her.

The Jeffersons, Episode #241, Sayonara. When Lionel and Jenny announced they were getting a divorce. Very sad episode but when George and Louise got into it with Tom and Helen the old Jeffersons came back especially between Louise and Helen. The line was great when Louise said, "If the broom fits fly it." Helen came back with, "Then showed me how." Those were verbal power shots.

This was not a sitcom, but the fights on Little House on the Praire between Laura and Nellie. Not to mention, the great one between Laura and Almanzo's former flame Brenda Sue.

"The Paperhangers" episode on "The Abbott and Costello Show" featured a good cafe brawl, including Costello using a birdcage as a helmet, until the man brawling with Costello got wise, opened the door of the birdcage, and hit Costello on the nose.

An episode of "Laverne and Shirley" featured a good bar brawl. Though, I don't remember the name of the episode.

And while not a sitcom, "The Trouble with Tribbles" episode on "Star Trek: the Original Series" featured a good comedic bar brawl between the crewmembers of the "Enterprise" and the Klingons.

Here was the most intense fight of "Roseanne", and maybe even of all sitcoms--Fights N' Stuff: http://youtube.com/watch?v=eQ8rpudpwvw (destorying the house, swearing at each other etc.)

This episode should have been the last of "Roseanne". There are so many strong and powerful ways this fight tied up the entire series. Sometimes I feel the last season was a spinoff, and that this was the actual last episode.

I'm so amazed at how strong of a woman Roseanne was on TV. Truly groundbreaking. Even today I'd be shocked if I saw a sitcom like this.

Good quotes:
Quote #1:
Roseanne: "God, you're hiding food, Dan!!"
Dan: "Yeah, with the cleaning products, it's the one place I knew you'd never look!"

Quote #2:
Roseanne: "Well, my mother might be fingernails on a chalkboard, but at least she's allowed to grow finernails!"

PS: I mean, how can you beat this episode? It is CALLED "Fights N' Stuff"!

I didn't click on the link, but I remember that episode. I like how the writers threw in funny sayings, considering how serious the episode is/was.

I liked that too. "Roseanne" at its best had some of the most clever lines and storylines, ever.
