Was that horse supposed to be a male or female horse? I seem to recall when Laura gave the horse to Nellie, she referred to the horse as a "he" and in the episode when Bunny gets hurt and Laura's grandfather must shoot Bunny, isn't Bunny referred to as a "she"?

I have no idea. I don't think the writers knew either!

I remember the episode where Bunny dies and he was a she. If you look closely 'Bunny' is a male horse.

A minor detail. You'd think all those farmers would know the difference!!!!

I've noticed this happens a lot with animals in TV shows.
Some of the actors say "he" and others say "she" while
referring to the same animal! I don't know if anyone here is
a Dukes of Hazzard fan, but that happened a LOT with Flash-
Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltran's dog!
