Yeah, around that time. Lisa did have several moments during the first 2 or 3 seasons where it looked like she "warmed up" to Screech - but then he'd do something ridiculous in the following episode, and their moment would be forgotten. LOL

Yes. They were always friends. She just wasn't AS annoyed by him all the time, later in the series.

And there were A LOT of times when Zack treated Screech like that too. I always loved that scene during the very first season (the Miss Bliss episodes), when Miss Bliss pointed out that Zack took advantage of Screech, just because Screech was his devoted friend. Then Zack felt bad and apologized to him.

I'm kind of borderline here. The two really didn't have that much in common, but I do think Lisa should've been nicer to Screech. I'm not sure if the two of them really were friends or not - even though logic would say that they were, since they were part of the same crowd. For all the times that Lisa puts down Screech, though - I think she did sometimes care about him.

Out of the group, Zack seemed to be the friendliest to him - and the others would get annoyed with him at times, but they were also nice to him at other times.

I'll say. He was too good for all of them, except Kelly. Originally, Zack and Kelly were very friendly, while the others were just tolerant. Early in season 2, Kelly would be the only one who would ever seemed to be at all friendly toward him. I think they would have made a pretty good couple. They even fooled around with the idea in season 1, but it didn't last past an episode. I was always hoping for a show where Screech would turn on the others with a Zack-like scheme of his own. But it never happened. The closest thing was "The Bayside Triangle" which was just about PG comedy at it's very worst. Of course the fact that Diamond couldn't act didn't help matters either....

I still like when Screech was tutoring Kelly and ZXack got jealous and went and told Mr. Belding that they planned to get married on Friday.

He calls Screech into his office, and Screech says the big day is Friday, and Mr. Belding tries to work his way around the issue without comming out and saying it. Then Mr. Belding says to Screech, you can't elope, Screech says back who you calling a cantalope you melon head.

Then Mr. Belding finds out Screech was only tutoring Kelly for a test.

Screech, as annoying and nerdy as he was, was like a gay male friend to a popular, athletic high-school girl. They are in their gang of friends, but they want nobody to know that they are friends with a so called "Screech" character, they probably will never date but are on a not bad level friendship wise. Except Screech isn't, wasn't gay LOL...at least not on the show
