Word is over on the Aliens in America board that Reba got cancelled because it wasn't urban enough for there audiance. WTH? I'm sorry but not everybody is urban. There are actually white people that are Christans in the world. I would write CW and report racisim, but all good things must come to an end. And better now than it being on so long, 'Reba' starts to get stupid. It just makes me mad.
p.s: i don't watch AIA. I just saw a post saying 'Reba got cancelled for this crap?' and read it. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. Just repeating what I read.

Reba wasn't canceled for Aliens In America. Or because it wasn't urban enough for The CW. That was just someone's opinion.

Whatever the deal was, Reba got jacked. That show deserved a full 22 episode final season. Reba was the highest rated comedy on the WB. It was sheer idiocy for them to even consider not wanting to pick this up in the beginning during the merge period; it was idiotic that they treated it the way they did. That show continued to get high ratings on the network until the very end. They didn't want to pick it up but they sure as hell didn't mind rerunning the show all that time during the fall and after the finale. Ugh, I wish the WB and UPN never merged. Ever.

Because I wanted to get my point across. LOL. No. My computer is giving me problems. I actually think it is the wireless signal. I hit the button too many times is all.

It was an okay ending. Better than most but still wasn't great. It should've gotten a full 22 episode commitment and have ended with the birth of Van and Cheyenne's new baby! Now thats a good ending!

A full season would have been good. And, ryan: I like that ending. lol. :) BTW, I was watching a news entertainment show on GAC (Great American Country) and the host said Reba was canceled because it didn't match the CW audience.

I'm a huge fan of the show and of Reba as well. So, I did keep up with what was going on the whole time it was supposedly being canceled all the way up till the final announcement that it in fact had been canceled. It was said that the show didn't fit the target audience, in that it was targeting younger viewers, which supposedly wasn't who was watching the show. Also that it was "too country" (not the exact words used, but basically that's what was being said).
It did get "jacked" as it was put. The CW treated it and them all like crap actually. First they say it's canceled after having filmed the season finale of season 5. So they have to go back and remake that episode as the series finale, which gave them sort notice to do so. Then it was said it might come back for season 6, leaving the whole thing up in the air to where they don't even know. Then they don't get their whole 22 episode commitment. It was all a bunch of crap. It was the highest rated show on the WB and when it aired on the CW it gave them their highest ratings sense the CW aired, yet they still canceled it. Stupid!
Oh well, at least it went out while it was still in good ratings and we can still watch the reruns on the CW and Lifetime and some of the seasons are out on DVD too.
