Linda Lavin makes 4 guest appearances as Det. Janice Wentworth in Season 2 of Barney Miller, and that season on DVD (1975-76) comes to DVD on January 22. As we all know, LL left the show after that season to star in Alice...and the rest is history!

I already have Season One, I can't wait for S2. I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes with Linda. I just love her! :cheer:

Her guest appearances on BM were always fun. The best examples are when Wojo and Wentworth go undercover as a married couple in a hotel robbery investigation ("Hotel"), and the time Wentworth and Wojo (in drag) go out on park detail with hilarious results ("Heat Wave"). "Heat Wave" is also the episode where Chano's papers are blown across the room by a new fan the janitor brings in. Chano ends up screaming in Spanish at the guy. :lol:

Barney Miller was one of a kind - that's for sure. :D

Ann - another favorite of yours guest stars in Season 2 of BM. That would be none other than David L. Lander aka Squiggy! He appears in the episode "Hot Dogs" as a prisoner.
