Jack explains his plan to Cindy in the kitchen (regarding Janet playing the audio cassette of him practicing Spanish to trick Mr. Furley into thinking that Jack is in his bedroom). However, Janet (who was NOT in the kitchen when they had this discussion) not only goes along with the plan, but knows what to do.
