Awesome! Wouldn't it make sense, though, to do "Alice" back-to-back and have "Amen" do only one episode? Because, I mean, "Alice" did have over 200 episodes..."Amen" had about 115.
TVFactFan 11-19-2007, 02:44 PM Yeah 7:30pm is a nice slot, right before primetime and right after Natinal and local news hour. I just want to say to everyone these eps are not for RECORDING only WATCHING-lol

Alice ran almost twice as long as Amen - so your idea makes sense.
Scoobiedoo30 11-19-2007, 03:41 PM 1 week and counting till Alice Returns to Ion
Pavan 11-21-2007, 01:50 AM Alice will air 7 and 7:30pm starting Dec. 3. So 7:30pm is just for the week of Nov. 26, then a week later it will air for a full hour from 7-8pm Mon-Thurs starting Dec. 3.
Scoobiedoo30 11-21-2007, 02:02 AM yes back to back airing of Alice
Well, obviously, ION came to this board and saw my post :-p
Now can they go to the General Sitcoms Discussion board and see that many of us are pissed off with them?

He's good Irene, but I don't think he's a miracle worker!!
FredScuttle 11-26-2007, 09:00 PM Woohoo! I hadn't checked this board in awhile, since it wasn't on any more, just happened to be flipping thru the guide on DirecTV (finally got a dish about a month ago :) ) and saw "Sweet Charity" was airing. I wish I'd known in advance, I'd have taped it (didn't notice it until about 7:45pm). This is one of the episodes I have on audio tape when it aired on CBS weekday mornings in 1980-81. Would have loved to do one of my famous "cut from this episode" comparisons :D
Scoobiedoo30 11-26-2007, 09:06 PM it very good to see Alice back on The Ion Scheduled.
Very good move on Ion's part! Keep it on this time, Ion!
Scoobiedoo30 11-26-2007, 09:14 PM it is a Very Good Move to Bring Alice Back to Ion
JessBookgirl 11-28-2007, 07:17 PM I am glad to see that Alice is back on ION Television.
One other thing I would like to add, is I think TVLand should air Alice also.
Does anyone agree or disagree with me?

I agree, It's been over 8 years since Alice has been on Cable and if it was on TV Land, it would get better treatment. Not the sh*tty treatment that ION gives Alice
Scoobiedoo30 11-28-2007, 07:24 PM I would like to see Alice on TV Land so I agree with you

But of course!! :D
FredScuttle 11-30-2007, 01:11 AM Bad editing job notwithstanding, at least ION shows the closing credits for Alice intact with no voiceovers. TV Land would shrink them off to the side so badly you couldn't read them (it drives me nuts when they do that)

I love seeing the actual credits! Too bad that's largely a thing of the past. :(

Well in defense of TV Land the network has people who knows how to EDIT unlike ION who have people who CUT and PASTE scenes together
Ireneparalegal 11-30-2007, 08:09 PM I love seeing the actual credits! Too bad that's largely a thing of the past. :(
Amen to that. My boyfriend loved seeing the year 1979 at the end of the closing credits.
Austin Tripper 12-02-2007, 06:52 PM I knew they would bring it back.. the station must have dropped after a few weeks of designing women:happyface
