Thanks for posting. I never knew that Cassidy was bald. I still haven't had
a chance to see him in the STAR TREK episode but enjoyed his performances
in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, THE NEW ADVENTURES OF HUCK FINN (in the prologue as Injun Joe), and as Bigfoot on THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN; not
to mention his voiceover work on THE INCREDIBLE HULK (besides the growls, he was the narrator) and such Hanna-Barbera shows as GODZILLA and (of course) their first version of THE ADDAMS FAMILY. He was also the voice of Ben Grimm ("The Thing") in DePatie-Freleng's THE FANTASTIC FOUR. How sad that he was only 46 years old.

Me, too. Ted Cassidy was an underrated talent. Lurch was my favorite character - he never failed to crack me up.

I had read somewhere that they lost his ashes.

Did anybody catch him in the guest spots he did on I Dream of Jeannie?

Wow, that's freaky! Missing ashes? My husband loves that site, findadeath.com. It's really morbid, but very interesting.
