I was browsing the web on my vacation and came across this Freddie site!
It is a strange and creepy side of Freddie that we all feared!

Thnks for alerting us to this. All i can get is a cute pic of Freddie & the words Dearly Departed Fred and some ads on the site. Is there more to it? I am suspecting it is not to favorable to Frederico. So sad someone would have an unfavorable site on him. Yours is the best site on Frederico... :)

Yes it looks like another unflattering Freddie site. :p I really hate that picture of him from Rolling stone magazine. :p :p

I totally agree with you all 100%! I would like to either email to this person who made this or post something in there forum.LMAO! The worse thing that they can do is delete my post there! I say we all go there and express our love for that hunk of an Angel we all know as Freddie!

I agree, it's a horrible site and is very disrespectful. I rec'd an email about this site and was appalled by it all...really sick. Glad he or she hasn't discovered this board yet...or maybe that's where they are getting our email addresses. Be aware!

I agree, I received a request from this person to be a member of my Ed Brown's Garage MSN group. I accepted them at first and then also received an email from them about there site. I seen it and thought how awful can a person be to make this on behalf of Freddie. I imediately banned that person from my MSN group in fear they would be starting to bash Freddie.

I came across this on the site:

http://dearlydepartedfred.tripod.com/id4.html

How can a site like this equist? I mean I have been a fan of Freddie Prinze for as long as I can remember. Are you a Freddie Prinze Sr hater? Why is this such a negative site? -GM

GM This site is not meant to portray a negative side of Freddie. Freddie as we all know had his problems. He was a gifted man, and a normal human being. He had problems and troubles just like the rest of us have. This site just represents what happpened to Freddie from all he went through. With no hidden facts. His autopsy report shows and describes what he went though. Sometime in the near furture I will be posting his last will and testament. You can find one of the reasons why he was feeling the way he was at the time of the suicide
Dearly departed Fred

At least they don't seem to hate him & probably appreciate & like him. But why such a sad site on him? The skeletons on the site are sooo creepy & the site makes me so sad... :(

i haven't seen the site and i'm not going to, i don't have access to the cafe now for some reason but i'm going to alert ely to deny them.
i think things like this are mean, i hope maria and freddie jr never see that. i would think they could get sued having documents like that, even copyies on a website??

I agree Joy, I wonder if they that posted that can get sued. As I believe somewhere in the internet you can get access to public records. I dunno, don't quote me. It is a shame to see that on the internet, that should be private, or atleast not viewed at all! It is a sad site and I would rather remember Freddie in other ways then that seeing that site again!

I went to the site, and tho I found it highly disturbing and will not return, I don't think this person was purposely being disrespectful, it seems more like a morbid curiosity with celebrity deaths. I do agree it wasn't done in good taste, but these things never are. I think most of the information posted there was from the Wikipedia article that Mariposa and I contributed to as well as articles that many of us have gotten off of ebay and posted, especially from Suz's site... although I know she didn't put some of the articles found on this site on hers.... but they have been on other sites in the past. I have read some of the less positive articles that came out in some magazines after his death, and I think many of the ones on this site come from those places.
The internet being what it is, you will always find people like this on here. I had a personal experience with a parent of one of my students, who in person never let on that they were unhappy with me. Every time I talked with them it was all about how happy they were with their child's progress or how I could help her more, but as soon as the school year was almost over, they made the decision to pull her from our school and went to a website that supposedly rates private schools and ripped me a new one all about how lousy a teacher I was.... OMG  I was in shock for days. I finally got over it, knowing that any nut with an opinion can post anything on here, it is protected by the first ammendment. Fortunately my name never appeared. I know these kind of things are never pleasant, but if we want to enjoy the freedom to post what we do, then these people have to have the same freedom. Sad, but true :(

I am thankful to know that I believe this site is down! I was going to show this site to my husband this morning all because of the song on the background is from Alice Cooper, according to my husband. It was down by the time we got there, I described the song to my husband and he found it on a Alice Cooper cd he had. It was so creepy as we listened to it. Well thank goodness the evil doing is over!

Looks like.... Maybe the person never meant to insult anyone, and decided that this little morbid site did, so he or she took it down.... cause it is hard to say why it went up or why it is down, we should be glad that this person saw how it upset people and took it down. I only wish that all people would be positive about what they post....

Yes I am one of those people who see the glass half full! I always try to see the best in people, but I know I am disappointed sometimes.... :(

lucky,

i had a similar experience with a parent of a day care child, tho not on the internet.
her kids were sick in day care with a fever and had to be sent home, the next day they returned with fever (she had her mother in law drop them off on her way to work), i told her they need to be home with a fever
she said she was sorry but what could she do and she left them. i finally got a hold of the mother and told her she had to come and get them; that i had other kids and myself to think about, not to mention everyone feels better when they are at home
she came to get them and threw the biggest fit i have ever seen!
her one son was trying to show her a toy one of his friends got and she thre it across the room, she was slamming her hand on the table yelling at me telling me what an awful day care provider i was and how i had been trying to get rid of her kids since the first day they were there, she was even talking lawsuit!
her youngest one was on the floor at her feet with the a stomach ache crying.
she said i'm threw i'm not bringing them back here, i shouldn't even pay you.
i tried to give her the check back and when she wouldn't take it i tore it up in front of her. like me she's lived here all her life and has a reputation of having temper fits, i knew she would be complaining about me all over and telling people i actually had the nerve to take her check, and i don't need anything that bad, honestly it gave me a good feeling to do that and to see the shocled surprise on her face when i did it, was worth it! lol
anyway,
a while back her mom came over and asked me if i would take her grandsons back they were miserable and cried whenever she had to drop them off at the new day care, (the mom didn't even want to drop her own kids off at the new day care because they were so unhappy) in case you haven't figured it out this mother has temper fits and orders her parents around.
she asked me if i would take them back
i told her before i would even think of it she had to apologize to me, and that kind of thing better never happen again.

she showed up shortly before school started and said, i found out my mom stopped by to talk to you about taking the boys back (i knew when the grandma was here that her daughter asked her to see if i'd be willing too b4 she came over)
she acted as if she didn't know her mom was coming over but i know better
she asked me if that was something i would consider, tho she didn't apologize she didn't even seem sorry for what she'd done and said, besides scaring the little kids i had here.

i told her no, i felt bad for the boys they were good kids and i enjoyed having them here but i didn't want to open myself up to anything like that again and given her reputation i knew it was a possability.

the funny thing was tho, like the students parent, this mom was full of praise an appreciation for ALL i had done for her and the kids even up to the day before this happened.
and that quickly i went from the best day care provider who really loves the kids and has the patience of a saint....to how in the H#%@@ did you ever get a license i;m talking to a lawyer, you'll be lucky if you don't get sued, and you never liked my boys from the first day!)

and all this started because she sent obviously sick kids to day care which is not allowed in any day care.....unless they are specifically set up for respite, sick and emergency care.

i was shocked and hurt by this. i know the gal has problems and i feel badly for her and her family but i can't open myself up to that again or expose the kids to that. i have not regretted turning her down.

this world takes all kinds of people and as you say, we are all free to say what we believe or want to, we also have the freedom to believe it and listen to it or not.
so i won't be visiting that site

sorry i babbled

well if they do stop by they will see a more positive side, how kind he was and talented, not to mention handsome.
he had troubles, some serious ones but everyone does, but he had a good heart and that's what's most important
