Well, I don't, for one. But that's besides the point. My father and I have embarked on a new business venture: selling jewelry on eBay! My dad works in the jewelry business, and decided to take it to the internet to make some extra cash. Unfornately, we've had very little luck. We're both completely ignorant to eBay technique, and yeah. So I thought I'd bring it back to good 'ole Sitcoms Online to see if the items are of any interest to someone.

Hopefully I'm not violating any rules in posting these. Honestly, my parents have been struggling a lot lately to make ends meet and I'm just doing everything I can to help. And I promise that the stuff is really nice! Thanks.

I like jewelry, but I don't like expensive jewelry (i.e. diamonds, gold, etc).

I've tried selling jewelry on ebay, and I had little luck as well. I don't know why....maybe because it's kind of hard to photograph. I don't but anyway...

I sell on eBay but jewelry is one thing I stay away from because I know nothing about it. I would like to offer one piece of advice though, The shipping charges on your current items are way too high. You're charging $8.95 for first class mail to ship a pair of earrings. You're actual cost will probably be about $1.00 - $.4.00 depending on materials used (uninsured)

Since you're new to selling on eBay, You might not be aware that it is against their policy to charge inflated shipping prices whether intentional or not. High shipping costs are a big turn-off for many eBay buyers but there are those that will pay it and not think twice about it including my Mother who recently bought several Mickey Mouse watches and paid the seller $37.50 to ship them.

I looked at the package and saw that the actual cost was $6.50 which meant the seller stuck a $31.00 tip in his pocket. Complaints have been filed with both eBay and Paypal.

All that aside, I wish you well on your eBay endeavour but I think you will generate alot more interest in your items if you lower the shipping on future auctions.

I wear jewelry but am not obsessed with it like many women are. The two rings I wear belonged to my grandma, who is now gone. I adored her and wearing them every day is like a little tribute to her. Besides those, I wear my watch and a little necklace. That's it.

The only jewelry I wear is this gold chain with a Virgin Mary pendant and also this fossil watch I have.
