My daughter works that night. But as for celebrating, we will go to my sister's house (as we do every year) and have a great family get-together. My son's 6th birthday is on Wednesday, so we will celebrate it on Thanksgiving.

It's just going to be me, my folks, and my brother at home for Thanksgiving dinner (which will probably be closer to lunch!). My sister, brother-in-law and nephew will spend it in NY with my brother-in-law's family. So it will be low key - but there is nothing wrong with low key. :D

My mother always makes a big Thanksgiving dinner, so we'll go there. We don't usually see my husband's relatives on Thanksgiving since they all go to different in-laws for dinner.

Dinner with family. Same old, same old.
That sounds sooo nice. I hope you enjoy it. I live 800 miles away from my family and this will be the second year in a row I'll eat Thanksgiving dinner alone in my living room on a tv tray in front of the tv. I understand it comes with the territory when I moved away to "explore the world," but holidays like this one make it tougher than usual.

Last year I was in a different state than I am now and I carried out from a restaurant called Euler and Myer. It was really really good. This year I'm carrying out from a restaurant out on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico called The Island Grill. Since it's out there on the water, I may just decide to stay in the restaurant and have an ocean view while I eat.
...cause I hate turkey!
I hate turkey too...I was raised a vegetarian and on organic food and even though I do eat some meat now, I just don't have a taste for most meats. Not a fan of Roast Beef, Steak, Pork chops, Pot Roast, white meat chicken, bacon, or Pork Loin either. For some reason I can handle ham, dark meat chicken, some kinds of sausages, and hamburger but that's pretty much it. Love most kinds of fish though. :)

Same thing as always, and I love it. Just hanging out with the family and having dinner at my house.

Might put up the Christmas tree and stuff too if there's enough time. Family tradition. :D

Wow I am so stuffed. It was a nice Thanksgiving. Huge turkey, mashed potatos, stuffing, biscuits, corn, applesauce, peas, coleslaw...yummy! I nearly made everyone sick though when I dipped the turkey and stuffing in ketchup LOL.

I ate as much as I could, but ended up wrapping up what I didn't finish. I'll eat it later when the company's gone. I just don't like to eating in front of people; it makes me nervous for some reason. But at least I ate. :D
