Since Homer Simpson is a cartoon character, and Walter Cronkite is a news personality, I would have taken Dick Van Dyke up a few slots to put him in the top 10 and bring Dick Clark down a notch. I do think that Carol Burnett had a little more impact on TV than Mary Tyler Moore. I am shocked to see that James Garner didn't even crack the top 75.
If I remember correctly, TV Guide had a similar listing a few years ago, and this is how they listed the top 10: 1. Lucille Ball 2. Johnny Carson 3. Oprah Winfrey 4. Bill Cosby 5. James Garner 6. Carol Burnett 7. Mary Tyler Moore 8. Michael Landon 9. Andy Griffith 10. Dick Van Dyke.
