Does anybody know if they plan on releasing "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie" & "Finding Lucy" on DVD? I have the commercially released "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie" & "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie - The Outtakes" VHS videocassette tapes.

However, I don't have the commercially released "Finding Lucy" VHS videocassette tape. I know it was sold in an I Love Lucy VHS box set, but wasn't sold separately. I really wanted that, but didn't want to by the VHS box set just for that, when I had all of the episodes already. I remember I was totally moved by the ending of "Finding Lucy." It was so touching. They were showing a montage of "I Love Lucy" clips to a female singing "My Funny Valentine," which segued into a slow rendition of the "I Love Lucy" themes songs played by violins. They showed an empty Ricardo on screen, with just Ricky's conga drum & Lucy's apron over the couch. They were in black and white. You hear just their voices. Ricky said "Lucy, I'm home." and Lucy said "Oh, hi, honey." Then the narrator came on and said some very nice, kind, sincere and heartfelt things. Then, at the end, it's a full view of the apartment. The black and white drum and apron are now in color. The narrator says something like "the angels in heaven are watching I Love Lucy." I don't mind telling you that I got a little choked up with watching this. You know when you get all filled up and get a lump in your throat? The same thing happens to me when I watch the end of "Lucy and Desi: A Home Movie." It's from the part where Lucy's niece says "What would I say to Lucy if she were standing right here? We miss you. Let us all in." Then, it cuts to home movie footage of Lucy, Desi, Lucie and Desi Jr in the pool in the 1950's and fades into home movie footage of Lucy and Desi in the pool with their first grandchild, Simon. Then, there's the audio of Desi on The Johnny Carson Show and singing a slow rendition of the I Love Lucy theme song over the closing credits. It just touched me so deeply.

Just reading this post is sad. I have watched every Lucy special that has ever been on television. I only wished I had recorded them.

Offhand Lucy Is Enciente. It was so touching the way she told Ricky about the baby.

You can get all of your priceless VHS Lucy things Transferred to dvd by pros or have friends do it if they know how. I had absolutely everything done over and Finding Lucy was a problem as the VHS was copy proof, but somebody found a way to do it anyway, they always do.

Oh and to answer your original thread question, there are many tear producing shows, my favorite probably being when he takes her hand to dance after their major tiff in Hollywood Anniversary, NONE OF THOSE PEOPLES ARE COMING? LOL!
