View Full Version : What is your favorite year?
Bobby1978 11-10-2007, 10:38 PM What year did you all enjoy the most? Whether it be an accomplishment, a fond memory, etc. For me, it's 1996 and I'll throw give some reasons:
1)I graduated high school
2)The Florida Panthers reached the Stanley Cup Finals
3)I was planning to leave Florida for New Jersey(11 years later, and I still haven't)
Mikado 11-10-2007, 10:52 PM Great question, i wish i had an answer for you  (I cant say that I've ever had a year that sticks out! )
EmoJoe 11-10-2007, 11:46 PM i'd probably have to say this year, but from July to now. January to June was alright, but over the summer i made so many new friends thanks to marching band, and ever since then it's just been awesome and really fun with them. for the first time in years i actually feel comfortable with people my age and people who arent my family lol. everything has just fallen into place. but i have a feeling next year will be even better.
before that, probably from like 1998 - 2002, cause i was little and being little rules. :)
Ireneparalegal 11-10-2007, 11:59 PM 1983, 1989 and 2001. Those are the year's I gave birth to my children.

Very good reason. Child birth is one of the best things in life. I liked 1989 the best of those three. That year had some good music. I was into Milli Vanilli and used to sing their songs(singing and baseball are my two talents), and was very upset when I found out it wasn't them singing.

I have their cassette.  Of course it is in a box filled with other cassettes that I never use now that I have CD's and my iPod.
Stormtracker TF 11-11-2007, 12:41 AM Probably 2004. It just seemed like the perfect year to me from top to bottom.
Either that or like, 1991-1994...Being a little kid was awesome. :p

That's what I said in 1997. 10 years later, I feel old. I can't believe I'll be 30 in 6 months.
OH Nuts! 11-11-2007, 01:05 AM 2000

*Pleasant Tomorrow* 11-11-2007, 02:48 AM 1989 probably because I was born...the rest sucked. I liked summer this year but not the whole year itself.
*InThisMoment* 11-11-2007, 02:55 AM 2003, because it was just a great year. Kind of unexplainable, but it was just one of those stand-out years where you look back and smile. So many great memories. This year has turned out pretty awesome so far, as well. As did 2005 and 2006. Actually, I think 2003 to now has been pretty good. So far, life has been pretty good to me I suppose. :p
dawsongirl 11-11-2007, 03:18 AM I was born in 1978. I feel like an old man.
Join the crowd, Bobby. But there are a few of us 70s babies hanging around here. I still feel old though!
Anyway, to answer the question...I dunno, 1998 was ok. Good and bad. First half was good (senior year of HS), last part sucked (missed HS and I was at a god awful college).
My childhood was pretty good, so most of the 90s was good. 80s too, if I remembered more of it.
I would like to forget Nov 99 - April 2002.
Adamantium 11-11-2007, 04:50 AM 1995.
That was the year my favorite show "NewsRadio" debuted. That was also the year I began recording "I Love Lucy" off of Nick at Nite. That was the summer of my favorite Block Party Summer lineup. That summer also included the tenth anniversary week of Nick at Nite marathon.
Wow, my life really does revolve around television. Maybe I should get my old username 'TVAdam' back, lol.
coffield3 11-11-2007, 05:30 AM I dont think i have one?
freshprinceofLA 11-11-2007, 04:18 PM Probably from July 2006- June 2007 those were great times. Made a lot of new friends, liked my classes and teachers, got closer and had a lot of fun with my family and I discovered that I cared about and I still do about this girl named samantha :)
Ireneparalegal 11-11-2007, 04:23 PM Let me add the year 1980. I turned 15 and I had a HUGE PARTY. It is one of those big parties called a Quincenera. My dad went all out, but I tried to keep it simple. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and even after all that money my father spent on that day, he still bought me pearls as a birthday gift. I MISS HIM SO.
It was also the year that I met my first husband...THAT FOREVER CHANGED MY LIFE. :faint: It was good, but it was also bad. The good parts was having my two daughters from that relationship.
