For this thread, let's pretend like it's the summer of 1994. Which means the fifth season of "Wings" is now over and the sixth has yet to begin.

Go...

Wow, what did everyone think of the season finale? lol

I hear Farrah Forke isn't coming back for the next season. I didn't like her in the beginning, but she grew on me this past season.

Do you think Joe and Helen will stay together? And if so, what's gonna happen to Davis?

Do you think Mark, Helen's Crab Boy will come back again next season? I don't care much for him. He has yet to make me laugh.

I can't wait for the sixth season!

What do you think of OJ Simpson? He's so obviously guilty. I predict that after a quick trial, he'll be convicted and sentenced to death and we won't still be hearing about him in 2007. (I couldn't resist! I'm sure people really were saying that in 1994 though.)

I turned 13 in 1994 and started losing all interest in "kiddie-coms" like TGIF shows and Home Improvement and started watching more adult shows like Wings, Frasier, Seinfeld, ER, and others. The first Wings episode I remember watching was the one where some of them were stuck in Antonio's cab with Carlton.

Admantium, I can't wait for the new season, either! I hope Helen picks Joe!! :D I think they should get married, they'd make such a cute couple. This season will def. be interesting, that's for sure!

Remember a couple of seasons back when Helen married Antonio to stay in the country? They said they were going to get a divorce, but we never actually saw it happen, did we? I wonder if that could cause problems if Helen does end up marrying Joe. Anyone else wonder about that?

(It's fun pretending Wings is a new show, and we've never seen S6! lol)

I imagine if Joe and Helen get married, they'll save it for the final episode. Besides, they just "got back together." I figure she'll choose Joe over Davis, I mean this IS a sitcom. I'm just wondering if it will be a season long battle, where Helen can't choose between them. That could be funny.

I don't think anything will come from the Helen/Antonio storyline. The writers themselves have probably forgotten all about it, lol.

Also, I wonder if they'll replace Alex. They don't need to. I mean it has a large enough cast. Maybe Davis will join the cast but I don't know if I could stand him in every episode. He's definitely best as an occassional character.

Let's not forget that Joe got the loan. I wonder how that will change things for the show.

I can't wait for next season, lol.

Do you think Antonio will finally get a steady girlfriend who isn't a freak?

Will they have a good Christmas for once?

I also wouldn't mind seeing the writers bring back the Helen/Antonio storyline. Wouldn't it be funny if it was discovered that they are still married?

I heard rumblings that Thomas Haden Church wants out! They can't lose Lowell!!

Well, I wish the best for Farrah if she doesn't come back. Just coming off a hit sitcom she'd have to do well, far from doing sitcoms with like Corey Feldman or something!

They better not switch Wings timeslot again! I'll scream.

Man, I hope this baseball strike doesn't happen. They always seem to work it out. I'm sure August 12th will come and go without any trouble :).

Yes, that would be a riot! Can you imagine if she tries to hide it from Joe? It'd be interesting to see how the writers would pull it off. I just hope they don't do something dumb like say they "forgot" to mail in the divorce papers!

I wonder who the writers will eventually pair Casey off with. I bet Brian and Antonio will fight over her. Antonio deserves to have a decent romance.

Will this be the season that Fay finally retires? Could there be another George in her future?

Will Carlton visit again?

Who's Casey? Do you know something about Season 6 that I don't? ;) I hope Carlton does come back, I think he's hilarious! What about this Sandy Cooper person, do you think the writers are done with her?

Didn't you hear? Amy Yasbeck is joining the cast as Helen's sister. I wonder if Amy will fake a southern accent. She probably will.

I'd like to see Sandy again. But a third time might be a bit much. That's how it was with Carlton. He was great the first time and it was great seeing him return. He was funny the third time around, but I'm not into him returning anymore. I just hope Gilbert Gotfried doesn't reprise his role as Carlton's nephew. That would suck!

Ooh, Amy Yasbeck. Isn't she married to John Ritter or something? Hmm, if she's joining the cast, maybe John could guest-star. That would be interesting, don't you think? And now that Joe and Helen have paired off (unless she picks Lynch, ugh!), maybe Casey could be a love interest for Brian. I bet I'd like her better than Alex.

If Joe does ever propose to Helen, I'd like it to be inside an elevator and with some passion. That would be a great scene.

And I hope the character of Casey doesn't become Brian's new girlfriend. I mean he just ended a relationship, and I was hoping to see the old Brian back. You know, single Brian. :)

I just hope we never have to see Davis Lynch or Sandy Cooper again. Ugh! :barf:
