Yes, I am finishing it. Things have just been hectic between school and work lately. I am going to try to have at least 1 other chapter posted next week. I'm going to be working on it on the plane this weekend. So hopefully I will get a bunch done because I will be on the airplane about 6 hours or so.

I fly out Saturday morning and fly home Sunday evening. I tried to get a plane out Friday night, but they've canceled all the late flights from down here after Sept. 11.

Oh well, this way, I get to go to my old high school's final regular season game. The are going to the playoffs for the 2nd time in almost 40 years. They also have a chance to win the district championship as well on Friday. It is the battle of the undefeateds. It should be a good game.

Anyway (I got real off topic here) going back to the original question, I leave early Saturday morning and get back late Sunday night.

Well, when I get into a groove, I just write and write. I've written for years. I used to write short stories and poems when I was younger. I even had a couple of them published.

I had gotten out of writing until I came to this board and was inspired to start writing again. This board had been a great release for my creativity.

I have really enjoyed writing this story, and even if nobody read it, I wouldn't mind. Just knowing that I had written it and had done a good job on it is all the satisfaction I need.
