Thought some of you in here might want to check out the new episode of my retro pop culture podcast "Just My Show," which is all about "Welcome Back, Kotter". It features a lengthy interview with Epstein himself, Bob Hegyes. Then, I talk with John Sebastian, who as you probably know, wrote and performed the "Kotter" theme. (He's also in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his work with The Lovin' Spoonful.)

Bob and I talked about everything from the show initially being banned in Boston to the possibility of a "Kotter" reunion. John, of course, tells the story behind writing one of the greatest TV themes of all time.
