wiseguy182 11-07-2007, 07:04 AM hey everyone,
I communicated via PM with crystaldawn yesterday, and she said she plans on making vol 12 as she has had several posters request it. so i thought i would start a suggestions thread for it.
there are still alot of great segments even going into vol 12, so put you're thinking caps on.

UMfan0682 11-07-2007, 09:48 AM Those are some great segments Wiseguy! I would like to see the segment on Dr. Ted Losef. It's been a while since I've seen this one, and always remember it for some reason. I've already worn down the previous volumes on my computer :D
marlins3 11-07-2007, 10:56 AM More suggestions:
- Butch Cassidy
- Operation Pigeon Drop
- Con man Eric Kessler (or Kelly) "why can't you make an intelligent business decision?"
- ed barbar (or barbara) car dealer who opened a fake gold mine and tricked investors before hauling off with their cash
- Spiral Staircase
-Kenneth Robert Stanton (scary looking dude in the segment)
- port chicago seamen
- shroud of turin
- more lost treasure segments or con men
- a copy of the Son of Sam segments without any interference (the middle of the segment has part of a sitcom taped over it)
- more sgements of misers (these fascinate me for some reason)

Spiral staircase is on the Miracles DVD. While I love this particular segment, I really want CD's volumes to focus on cases that aren't released on DVD by FirstLook. Just my two cents.....

ididn'tdoit 11-07-2007, 05:40 PM Wow, great suggestions guys! :)
I remember seeing a Bigfoot segment where there were some guys camping or something and they thought there had been a bigfoot in their cabin, anyone remembers that one?
crystaldawn 11-07-2007, 06:08 PM Wow, those are enough suggestions for a couple of volumes!
Wiseguy, who is Kevin Wheel? That name doesn't ring a bell. Also refresh my memory about the swoop and squat one please.
I will agree with what Kamy said. I don't have the spiral staircase one but I don't put any segments on the volumes knowingly that are on any of the commercially released boxed sets unless I have something with some additional footage (like Alcatraz) or I mistakenly put it on not realizing a particular segment was on the boxed set.
The "Cachimba" segment I have is from an NBC airing and at the end it profiles a few other people that were killed by hit and run drivers who are wanted. Its pretty interesting and I believe Lifetime edited that special alert type part out when they aired the case.
wiseguy182 11-07-2007, 06:36 PM Wow, those are enough suggestions for a couple of volumes!
Wiseguy, who is Kevin Wheel? That name doesn't ring a bell. Also refresh my memory about the swoop and squat one please.
Kevin Wheel was a California teenager that was out driving his car while he was killed by members of a gang on a mistake hit.
swoop and squat is a segment about motorists that "box-in" their victim (having one car ahead of them, one in back, one to the side) and then start to ram it so that the victim has no place to go but the side of the road.
baton_man 11-07-2007, 06:51 PM Those are some great segments Wiseguy! I would like to see the segment on Dr. Ted Losef. It's been a while since I've seen this one, and always remember it for some reason. I've already worn down the previous volumes on my computer :D
I have to agree with that post. Ted Losef was the doctor who was set up by his drunk wife who later died herself. She arranged to have him murdered. Is Ted Losef's mother still alive?
wiseguy182 11-07-2007, 06:54 PM I have to agree with that post. Ted Losef was the doctor who was set up by his drunk wife who later died herself. She arranged to have him murdered. Is Ted Losef's mother still alive?
I have heard that Zel Losef went to be with her son.
kadrmas15 11-09-2007, 05:28 PM Dan Wilson, Todd Kelly and Jean Moore I know for sure are on other volumes.
JRA2000TL 11-09-2007, 10:42 PM Heck maybe throw Kenneth Robert Stanton in there. He's the guy that posed as the milk inspector that raped young girls throughout the Southeast including Mobile where I live. Creeped me out as a kid...especially with those bug-eyed glasses. He was caught in Warner Robins, GA.
Been away from the board for a few weeks---been on the road traveling for work. I'd be interested in a Vol. 12 as well. Those episodes listed are great suggestions. Not many of them ring a bell, so they'd be all new to me.
greatgarrett2 11-10-2007, 08:27 PM What about the Rudolph Hess segment? I don't really know the details, but I remember seeing it as a child. He was imprisoned or something but they might have imprisoned an imposter for his war crimes?
Does that ring a bell?
Correct me if I'm wrong, tho....don't mark my words.
kadrmas15 11-12-2007, 03:19 AM Yes Garrett, I remember it. Rudolph Hess or a man posing to be him, was sentenced to life in prison for war crimes from World War 2. Well in 1987, Hess or the man posing as Hess was murdered in prison, Hess was I believe 93 years old.
greatgarrett2 11-12-2007, 06:59 PM Yes, thanks.......I remember him being 93 years old.
Corky Kneivel 11-13-2007, 07:58 PM The truly bizarre death of Rudolf Hess.
marlins3 11-14-2007, 01:18 PM I apologize. I did not know the spiral staircase was on the miracles DVD. I will have to pick that one up (I have the best of, mysterious legends, and bizarre murders). The ED Barbara segment would be great if anyone has it. I believe it aired just one time
marlins3 11-14-2007, 04:00 PM forgot one...

lost_loves 11-20-2007, 01:29 AM Would totally love to see a CD for lost loves! I always liked seeing the reunion of family members or other loved ones.
It was also nice to see a balance with the show, since there was a lot of negative stuff with all the murders and haunting ghosts.
