How come Paramount hasn't released this show on DVD? It has always been such a popular show. Nearly all of their other 'big' shows have DVDs out, such as Lucy, Cheers, Andy Griffith, etc. All of the DVD releases (even MPI) have been public domain, right?

I think this is probably the most popular show in Paramount's library that hasn't been put on DVD yet.

Well I know for the B&W episodes the Henning estate owns those rights, but you'd think Paramount would release the show being that it is popular.

Paramount was quick to release shows with that are pretty much the same caliber of TBH - such as I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and even Hogan's Heroes. All are complete, I believe, but still no Hillbillies. It doesn't make much sense.

I wouldn't buy all the seasons; but I'd still like to see the entire series realesed.

They haven't released The Lucy Show either. According to CBS/Paramount, there isn't an audience for the show. It may be one reason why the show is going to air on TV Land, to see what the audience demand for it is. So, let's everyone watch in January!

Hello,
This is my first post. I too have been waiting for the Official unedited release of TBH on DVD. I just don't understand why after most of the major and even minor shows of the 60's decade have been released but not TBH. This show was immensely popular. I would buy the entire catalog if available.
