The Simpsons decide to visit the beautiful state of Rhode Island. Homer decides to take the family to Quahog because he figures a town with the name "hog" in it would have lots of bacon. Mmmm, bacon.

While in Quahog, they meet the Griffins and immediately, Homer and Peter become friends. Marge and Lois hang out, but don't really hit it off. Bart makes Chris his bitch and Lisa tries to help Meg out with boys. Lisa eventually grows tired of Meg's stupidity and ends up manipulating her for Lisa's own amusement.

Both families go back to Springfield along with other Quahog residents who came along to see what state Springfield is in because Homer himself does not know.

Stewie falls in love with Maggie but doesn't understand why she won't talk. Brian trains Santa's Little Helper to be a vicious attack dog (just like Burns once did). Quagmire beats up Flanders with Flanders' own bible. Adam west beats the hell outta Diamond Joe Quimby. Carl finds out he is Cleveland's long lost nephew. Burns figures out a way to deport Mr. Weed. Chief Wiggum cripples the rest of Joe's body. And finally, the horny old man gets a job at Krusty's show as audience inspector.
