I made a post like this over at the Wings board a long time ago and thought I'd start one for MASH.

Frank- Follows all strict military procedures in lightbulb changing. Screws it in wrong.

Klinger- Tries to get out of changing the lightbulb by ressing up as a lantern.

BJ- Whines about how much he misses changing lightbulbs for his beloved Peg.

Hawkeye- Goes on an on and on about the horrors of changing lightbulbs.

Charles- Pays Klinger to change the bulb for him.

Radar- Just changes the damn lightbulb. It's not that hard.

Potter- Paints a picture of the lightbulb instead.

Mulcahy- Doesn't need a lightbulb. The light the Lord provides is ample enough.

Trapper- Doesn't give a dang about the lightbulb as long as he's getting some lovin'.

Margaret- Gets Frank to do it for her, then changes it herself after he screws up.

Henry Blake- While he was changing the lightbulb, his plane was shot down.

Henry doesn't know how to change a lightbulb, so Radar does it for him (without being asked, of course!).

I may have to steal this idea for a few other boards. Hope you don't mind, Kristen! :)

Col Blake asks Radar to replace the bulb in his tent.....Radar requisitions a lightbulb from Army supply, waits 6 weeks for it to arrive....meanwhile, Hawkeye trades his footlocker for new boots and a lightbulb, but the deal blows over when Klinger can't trade one of his dresses to a "pleasure girl" for the boots.....Frank gets a new lightbulb, but, throws it out when he sees it was made in Japan, rather than a good clean-cut AMERICAN bulb.....Margaret decides to go to Tokyo and see if she can get a bulb from General Hammond by spending the weekend with him......everyone's lightbulb problem is eventually solved, when Charles joins the 4077th and has his parents send him 400 boxes of bulbs; which he sells all over the camp at a 50% markup!

Now, how do M*A*S*Hers actually reach up to CHANGE the bulb, if its up too high?

col Potter: Sits on his horse
Radar: gets a ladder and sets it on top of a chair
Hawkeye: stands atop his "little black book"
Margaret: climbs up a pile of her former lovers
Charles : stands on a bundle of money
Klinger: wears his highest heeled shoes
Frank: rather than install the bulb, he just sends it home to his wife

Go right ahead, Kristen :)

Radar- Knows when the lightbulb needs to be changed before it even goes out.
