I cant think of any, I rarely hate movies, only maybe 5 or 6 I hate.

critics loved the movie, but I remember as "Children Of Men" ended thinking this is two hours I'll never get back

Titanic and Pearl Harbor. I hate movies about horrible things that happened in history. Much too depressing to be a movie.

I'm sure I have more, I'll have to add them when I've had some time to think about it.

Pearl Harbor was VERY overrated. My Dad had a real problem with it, thought the love story was unnecessary and unrealistic; he said 'the women back then weren't as beautiful as kate beckinsale was made to be in the movie, with their red lipstick and perfectly curled hair; they looked like they'd been hit by a truck'.

I don't like the martix movies and lord of the rings movies. I also don't like austion powers movies. I don't care to much for james bond movies.

American Beauty - I hated it and everyone else went gaga over it. I kept thinking, "did I see the same movie they did??" :lol:

I think you may have missed the point in the movie. Sacha Baron Cohen loves to bring out the ugly side in people and hold it to them with a mirror. I think everything he does is genius and I cannot wait until the Bruno movie comes out

I havent missed no point, i know all there is to know about him because my brother is a huge fan, i just dont think its funny but alot of people do which is what this thread is about.

I hated those Rocky movies. I've just never cared for Sylvester Stallone's acting. Most of my family and my in-laws liked them though.

I agree - Pearl Harbor was not a good movie. Then again, I don't think about that flick fondly due to the fact that my date turned out to be a jerk. :mad:

#1 Star Wars - The most overated movie in history....long, dull and totally plotless, it was a special effect looking for a movie! :barf:
#2 Batman- Micheal Keaton was badly miscast, so much so that they had to CHANGE Bruce Wayne's backstory to make it fit (He became a clone of Clark Kent, basically)...and Jack Nicolson's Joker wasn't really anything new, it was just the same character he played in The shining with a new hat!
#3 Animal House- Crude juvenile comedy, you needed to be drunk or high to enjoy this "masterpiece" well, since i'm a teatotaller and dont use drugs....
#4 Wayne's World- Pretty much what i said for Animal House fits here....i will give it credit for featuring the delicious Tia Carrere as the love interest! :lol:
#5 Mike Myers repeats for his way overated spy spoof series of Austin Powers movies......I just found AP to be sexist and creepy, not to mention VERY INSULTING to short people!

I enjoy the Star Wars movies but I do have to admit they are probably the most overrated thing ever created. I mean, they were good but every single frame has been overanalyzed to death by the geeks. It's just a movie!!! I love a lot of things that are "cult" but I don't analyze every minor extra in the background in scenes.


But Lord Of The Rings I hate. Hate may be too strong of a word but I was bored to tears with it

Irene, then you're probably not surprised that I have a hard time finding other people that didn't like it. There are movies that I liked less. It's just that none of them seemed to have the popularity of Little Miss Sunshine.

Star wars. The animations and whatnot did bring a lot to computers and such, but I hate the movies to death.

Titanic, along with Simon Birch. There's something about drama movies that I can't stand, but these two are by far the ones I hate the most.

Napoleon Dynamite: I don't know I find it really overrated there were some parts that were really really funny but some of it was just dumb sorry for all you fans out there but that's just my opinion.

I've never seen The Big Chill - but I never had a desire to, either. Moulin Rouge is another good example - that was sheer torture.

But anyway, this is about movies we HATE:

Instinct --with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Anthony Hopkins. Bad waste of good talent.

Left Behind --I saw the latest one with Kirk Cameron and Louis Gossett Jr. And a guy who looked like Balki from 'Perfect Strangers' as the villain. Cool in some parts, but got pretty corny and predictable.
