I don't like daylight savings time. Why can they just get rid of it. My baby is on a strict schedule and he knows when its time for his evening bath, then he eats then goes to bed. Well now his whole schedule is an hour off and now Im gonna have to wake up an hour early. This bites! Is anyone else thrown off by this? :bonk:

I hate that it gets dark at 6:00. So depressing, IMO.

I always seem to feel down around Daylight Savings Time. I get sleepier and my seasonal allergies go haywire. I've noticed too that babies are affected by the time change as well. I went over to my sister and brother-in-law's house today and my 17-month-old nephew was out of sorts now that his meals, bathtime, and bedtimes are all pushed up an hour. ohno: Aren't there a couple of places in the US that DON'T use Daylight Savings Time?

I miss the days when I lived in Indiana, back when most of the state didn't participate with DST. I love it when it's over and I can get my hour of sleep back.

All my primary clocks adjust time automatically, so I'm grateful I don't have to mess with it or stress over whether or not I'll wake up on time.

I don't really understand it, nor do I care. As long as it doesn't affect me in some strange way, I'm happy. Just want to go about my business. I barely noticed anything different today.

On the other hand, winter does get me down. Shorter days, cooler days. I get my energy from the sun. And this is a very lonely time of year for me.

The most annoying thing was the clocks that changed themselves...a week early. I had two different times in my bedroom. And yeah, not a fan of early darkness either. Other than that, whatever. I doubt I'll ever live in Indiana or Arizona, so it's just part of life.

^ Two of my vcr's changed over a week early too, it caused me to miss taping several shows because I didn't notice it right away. Otherwise I don't mind the change.

There is good and bad. Good: its light when I wake up. Bad: It gets dark at like 5:30. I get used to the time but I'd much rather get up when its dark and it not get dark till like 9:30
