for those who don't know who Dominique is (since it wasn't mentioned in the first post), she was the oldest daughter in the original Poltergeist.

That had to be the first True Hollywood Story I saw, it was really depressing how her boyfriend treated her. There was a Hill Street Blues episode where her bruises from being beaten by her boyfriend were visible. Very sad indeed. Her older brother was Griffin Dunne from An American Werewolf In London, Who's That Girl, After Hours, My Girl and others.

the whole Poltergeist thing is rather tragic when you think about it. It's interesting to note how well Craig T. Nelson's career has thrived through it all with Coach, The District and all the movies he's appeared in. He's definately the exception to the rule. Jobeth Williams is still around but I think she made a mistake doing too many TV movies in the 80's when she could've become a huge actress. The guy who played the son in those movies dropped out of view, I guess he was afraid after Dominique and Heather O'Rourke's tragedies, but he's still alive
