Is there a movie that you like but everyone else hates? For me it would have to be Brian De Palma's adaptation of Tom Wolfe's novel The Bonfire of the Vanities starring Tom Hanks and Bruce Willis. This movie is generally regarded by many as being one of the worst ever made. Even though it is very flawed, not as good as the novel and certainly not one of De Palma's better films, overall I think it is a good movie. Also, the book on the making of the film, The Devil's Candy, is one of the best books on the making of a movie.

I liked Darkness Falls it was a fun movie about the evil tooth fairy.

I think Roger Ebert and I were the only ones who liked The Majestic. I liked that movie a lot, but no one else I know did and most of the reviews I read tore it to bits. :confused:

I dont know that I love any films that were HATED, but, I do love "Top Secret", Val Kilmer's second movie, from the Abrams who did the Airplane movies; for some reason, this very clever and hilarious parody of the Beach Boys, WW2 , old spy movies and Elvis Presley bombed at the box office.

I don't know if this is one that every one else hated, but no one else I know has heard of it. The one I like is Race With The Devil. Anyone here ever hear of it?

The sin of Harold Diddlebock (1949)...... While a bit of an uneven film with an unbelieveable ending, I really like this film, which Harold Lloyd came out of retirement to do. It was released twice under 2 different names and lenghts and was such a bomb that the former silent film comedian went into retirement permanently (poor fellow spent the rest of his life as a photographer, doing nude shots of Hollywood starlets like Marilyn Monroe, for magazines! :crying: so sad! :lol: )!

Employee Of The Month; NOT the Jessica Simpson one, this one had Matt Dillon and Christina Applegate star in it, and no one I know liked it. I thought it was brilliant, funny, dark, and unpredictable.

I like alot of movies that no one else likes, haha. Don't know what that means...
