Back to Peekskill: Eastland Reunion

Scene 1:

Blair was sitting in her office at Warner Industries thinking about when she should go visit Eastland again. She owned the place, but she didn’t think they really needed her there. Bruce was doing a great job with being Headmaster; Beverly Ann was enjoying being housemother, and Mrs. Garrett (Gaines) was enjoying cooking for all those people again. She made up her mind that she would visit whenever she found some free time in her schedule, and decided to go home. It had been a very long day at work and she was tired.
The limo picked her up at the front door. She finally got home and made her way through the door. She went in the living room where her daughter Mallory was watching TV. “Hi Mom!” yelled Mallory. She quickly got up to give her mom a hug. “Hi Sweetheart”, replied Blair. “Is your father home yet?” “Not yet”, Mallory answered. “He called and said for me to tell you he’ll be home late tonight.” “Well then”, said Blair, let’s go get dinner ready then.”

What do ya think? I know the scenes are short but there will be plenty of Scenes. More to come soon!

Scene 2:

Dorothy and her daughter, Tisha were at her studio in Hollywood trying to come up with ideas for her 5th year anniversary show. She wanted it to be different, to be special. She decided that during part of the show, she would have the staff come out and introduce themselves. She decided to take a break for a little while. She was going through her mail and a letter with a return address of Peekskill, New York caught her eye. She immediately opened it. The letter read:
Dear Ms. Ramsey,
The Eastland staff would like to invite you and your family to a reunion for all the students that graduated from Eastland in the 80’s. The event will take place at Eastland at 3:00 this coming Saturday. Be there half an hour to an hour early for pictures. We hope to see you there.

Hi, Sorry about not posting more earlier, but I saved what I have on a disk and I didnt label it so I had to go through a lot of disks and find it. Ill post 2 scenes instead of one to make up for it. I hope you all like it.

Scene 3:

Natalie had just gotten done producing another long news segment for CNN. “Just another day on the job”, Natalie told herself. Natalie couldn’t wait to get home. She got an invitation to the Eastland reunion and called Blair to ask if she could stay with her. Blair gave the ok so now all she had to do was pack.
When Natalie got home the first thing she did was check her answering machine. “Hmm, 2 messages”, Natalie read.” She pressed the play button and heard a message from her boyfriend Harper telling her to call him. “I’ll call him later”, thought Natalie. “I have some packing to do right away.” The next message played and it was her other boyfriend Robert telling her he needed to talk to her. “I’ll call him later too.” “If I’m going to be ready to go, I better pack ahead of time.”

Scene 4:

“Mom!”, yelled a young girl. It was Jamie, Jo and Rick’s daughter. “What Jamie?”, replied Jo. “Who is going to be at this reunion of yours?” “Well, Jamie, Aunt Blair will be there, Aunt Natalie will be there, and Aunt Dorothy will be there.” We are staying with Aunt Blair for the weekend.” “Ok, I guess that’s cool”, she answered back.
(Rick walks through the door) “Honey I’m Home!” “Hi Rick”, yelled Jo. She ran down the stairs to kiss him. “We have to take the weekend off”, Jo told Rick. “Why?”, Rick asked. “We are going to Peekskill for my class reunion”, Jo replied. “Are we all packed?”, Rick asked. “Yeah Mom did all of that this afternoon”, Jamie told him.

Scene 5:

Mrs. Garrett was in the Living Room of her house laying down reading a book. She didn’t have much time for reading anymore since she went back to working at Eastland. She was always coming up with new things to cook for the students. She couldn’t wait for the Eastland reunion so she could see her girls again. She hadn’t seen them for quite a while. She had talked to them a few times but she thought seeing them in person would be much better. She fell asleep on the couch while thinking about the weekend.

Scene from The Reunion-

Mrs. Garrett:So Where's Jo?
Natalie: Not here yet.
Blair: Let's not get our knickers in a twist she'll be here.

Bruce was sitting at his desk when his secretary walked in. “Mr. Gaines, the invitations are all sent out.” “Thanks Pippa”, replied Bruce. “No Problem.” “You’re free to go now.” “Thanks,” yelled Pippa. “Andy's expecting me at home.” “Ok, See you tomorrow”, yelled Bruce back. Bruce started thinking in his mind that something was different about Pippa. She always had a glow in her face and he noticed she was gaining a little weight. It then hit him that Pippa was pregnant. Did Beverly Ann know she was going to be a grandmother? Did Edna know she was going to be a great aunt? Did anyone else know besides Pippa and Andy? Bruce then got worried that Pippa thought he might be mad if she took a lot of time off. He would discuss it with her in the morning. Right now he had to get home so he and Edna could discuss what should be served at the reunion.

Scene 7:

Pippa was driving home. She was getting home later than she expected because she stopped to buy groceries. She had the radio on the oldies station. The music stopped and a reporter came on and said “It has come to this stations attention that flight #1384 to Albany from Hollywood has gone off the radar. It is unknown if the plane crashed or just went off course. Pippa quick got her car pulled over and dialed Blair’s number. “Hello?, Blair answered. “Blair this is Pippa”. “I don’t have time for small talk.” “What’s wrong? asked Blair. “Dorothy lives in Hollywood, right? “Yeah ” replied Blair. Was she planning on flying?” asked Pippa. “No she took the train and should be here tomorrow” Blair told Pippa. “Thank God I just heard of a plane being lost that was headed to Albany from Hollywood. “That’s awful”, Blair said. “Yeah” replied Pippa. “Well, thanks for the info about Dorothy, Blair.” “No Problem and call me again sometime Pippa.” “I’ll do that.” “Bye.” “Bye Pippa.”
