Not a sitcom (but the show was only half an hour). Back in the 60s on Gentle Ben young Mark (played by Ron Howard's older brother Clint Howard) was an only child. I'm sure the family had a last name but I can't remember it. His parents were played Dennis Weaver and Beth Brickell.

On Full House I'm pretty sure D.J.'s best friend the smart-mouthed Kimmy Gibbler was an only child.

On iCarly, Carly's best buddy Freddie was an only child. You might think Sam was too. But on one episode they had her identical twin sister. Both roles of course were played by Jennette McCurdy.

On Family Matters Richie was an only child. Son of Harriet's younger sister Rachel and nephew to Carl and Harriet.

I heard or read once somewhere that they did on the last episode of either TAGS or MAYBERRY R.F.D. (by the way R.F.D. stands for "Rural Freight Delivery" in case anyone cares:lol: ) but whether it was shown or just mentioned I don't know. I do know however that they didn't have one in the reunion movie.

Yes. Andy and Helen Crump had a son named Andy Junior. If you look up Aneta Courset (Helen Crump) there is a picture of her, Andy and the baby. She is actually smiling wide, Andy just stands there.

No mention of Andy Junior in the reunion movie.
