Ok...I don't like that she will be going as Dorothy...I mean she is Tootie. I can't picture her not as Tootie. She will loose her "cuteness" if she goes by Dorothy. I honestly think that the reunion is going down the tubes. Don't get me wrong...I m gonna watch it. But it is not a reunion if all the girls aren't in it. If u peeps didn't kno that Tootie was going by Dorothy it says it in PEOPLE magazine. They have a big pic of The Facts of Life cast on the front page and they have an article about it.

GREAT! Glad you've joined the boards! I think it's pointless for Kim Fields or NAncy McKeon for that matter to try to shake their images as Tootie and Jo, respectively. FOr one thing, it's just weird it's not like Tootie and Jo were horrible characters like Homer Simpson or something!! Antoher thing is that the World will alwyas think of them as Tootie and Jo so trying to change that is pointless.I mean, it's actually a compliment to both of them...not a bad thing....I just don't know why they'd wanna change it!

I totally agree with u! In the article in PEOPLE magazine it says that the producer of The Division walked into Starbucks after Nancy had just been in there, and the lady at the counter was crying and said, "I can't take your order right now...I just saw Jo!"
They will 4eva be remembered as Jo and Tootie...they can't get rid of that image. I think they should live up to that image and be proud of it cause it is an extremely popular show and everybody knows Jo, Blair, Nat, Tootie, and Mrs G. I am mad that Nancy won't be in the movie cause I think she is the best actress and JO is the best characta! Ok...I m very talkative and opinionated. Sry Erin, I didn't mean to take up so much room. HEHE!

I TOTALLY agree with you guys about Tootie and Jo. I mean if this is the "Reuion" the least everyone could do is actually be IN the show as the people they have always been known as. It doesn't make any sense for "Jo" and "Tootie" to try and shake off the image or reputation they have already given about themselves to everyone. I mean you guys are SO right that everyone will always remember Nancy McKeon as Jo and Kim Fields as Tootie forever, so really theres no point to be "Dorothy" and whatever Nancy McKeon wants to be.
